Fists of Fire Questions |

Considering an off-the-wall level 18 build that I used to hear about back in 1.09. Just a couple questions about Fists of Fire --
1) Is this similar to Charged Strike -- in other words, is the damage of the base weapon irrelevant in determining the Fire Damage (only skills apply)?
2) Does Claw Mastery affect the Fire Damage?
3) If I had 2 kicks from Dragon Talon, would the released Fire Damage be applied twice?

Don't really have any answers for your questions, I'd just like to add that Fists of Fire in 1.09 was sort of 'bugged' in that it was an uninterruptible skill like concentrate/zeal.
(Unless my memory is off)

Was it uninterruptible, or was it AR-independent like charged strike? I remember it was bugged somehow, which was why everyone liked it so much.

IIRC, it acts like tiger strike, ie. sometimes it will stay for 2 or more kicks [or even more than 1 whole kick sequence] and sometimes just 1.

with lotsa ar, life and defense sounds like a good idea, but nozeracin relic or spurs would make the damage horrible

it would be an extremely hard build you would need fhr,ias,skills,ar,frw out the ass. the ais and skills would be hard as it is with out fhr.

afaik.
FoF (all elemental charge ups afaik) bugged to be uniteruptible, that was its only advantage in 1.09.
i remeber it being used in vlld against amazons and it worked very well bc u would not be block locked
claw mastery is not a ele+dmg% mastery , it shouldnt help Fire,,, if it does i'd be VERY surprised.
the charges may stay through-out multiple kicks just like TS on a ts/kicker , however, its dmg is NOTHING in comparison
u can enchant or use charms to add more fire dmg.. but unless you couple Dragontail its not being augmented by anything
u cant really buff ele dmg on vllds, especially melee vllds, and the sin doesnt get +tier1 skill claws (normally)
also FoF +DTail wont work imo
the skill SHOULD be uniteruptible.. its what made it viable imo.
untill further changes are made to the game, it remains novelty only
