What: LVL 30 ww barb tourney

When: July 23rd is the start. Duels will be posted on the 22nd, in the evening and may comence, the next morning.

Prizes: 5 hr, donated by yours truely(+donations accepted), and the ultimate trophy, a PERF BLOODLETTER NAMED JESTERS_CHAMP

Why: Ef it, why not? It's free.

Please do not sign up if you do not intend to participate. I would like to see at a minimum, 10 barbs in this.

Rules:

1. ALL BARBS MAY BE HELL RUSHED

2. Must be a barb.

3. The only attacks allowed are ww and normal attack(the arrow non skill attack). (conc, zerk, throwing, ANYTHING but WW/normal attack are not allowed)

4. Leap is not an attack and is allowed. Leap attack is however, and is not allowed.

5. War cry is not allowed. All other cries are, but only after entering blood moor. You may not return to town/stash after pre buff. Run what ya brung Smile

6. No pots of any kind are allowed. Must show belt to ref before duel.

7. All gear/charms will be shown to ref prior to duel.

8. ref will kill both chars prior to first duel, and kill winner after each duel to check for str bugging. If you cant pick your Sh!t up, you forfeit.

9. Mercs and minions of any kind are not allowed.

10. all duels will take place in norm blood moor.

11. Double elim tourney.

12. Excessive running without attacking for the sake of regenerating mana and/or life is not allowed. This is a judgement call made by the ref in the game. I will ALWAYS side with the ref.

Item Restrictions:

-No items with the "Slows target by X%" modifier.
-No items with the "X% chance to cast Amplify Damage" modifier.
-No charged items are allowed to be used. (Example: Life Tap wands, Amp wands, Teleport amulets, etc.) The items themselves can be used, but the charges cannot be used. I will require that al charges be expended to compete, if this is a problem, pm me, I'll pay to recharge after your duel :S
-No more than 200 poison from charms is allowed to be used. No more than 200 poison from items is allowed to be used.
-No Hacked, Duped, or Bugged Items are allowed in any shape or form at any time. This includes but is not limited to Carrion Grinder and Carrion Horn (classic USWest dupes).
-There is no limit to the amount of resistances you are allowed to stack.
-Rockfleece and String of Ears may not be used at the same time.
-You may have a total of -35 damage (damage reduced by x) on your character, or up to 5 sol runes.

why no str bug or prebuffing? i hope you havnt made the rules specifically to fit your own char Wink

also it says you may have -35 dmg red% but cant use rockfleece or soe at same time? then you can only have 15% dmg red so what the point

Str bug is allowed, as well as prebuffing:

You must be able to pick your gear up without going to stash to change charms, very standard in tourneys.

You can prebuff, as long as you dont need to go to the stash..Ie..grab sojs, bohelm etc..prebuff then go back to town and switch over to fighting gear. Thats prebuffing. Only field prebuffing is allowed (ie, hit switch wpns, bo, w/e and be ready to go without going back to town)

I found a perf blood letter tonight with fuh in the game with me. The only barb I own is a lvl 1 called JESTERS_CHAMP I happen to be perming now to name said blood letter.

Presume much? Entering? Or just not reading the rules?

Some rule questions however:

1. What are you supposed to do when no mana (just stand in place to take damage)? Seems odd...

2. And how would running away for mana recharge fit in (or constantly avoiding attacks)?
I just see someone dodging 6+ attacks and hitting once to apply OW & poison, then running again because of the mana rules... :/ [which makes for cheesy duels btw]
Sure ow & poison both deal very low damage, but repeating same cheese ad nausium could be a serious problem.

3. What is your stance on eth non-repairible items?
Reason is because this site has usually allowed them, but no other dueling group does for tournaments. I don't know what LLD101 does on tournaments however. And this is YOUR tournament, so stance on eth non-repairibles (example: eth honor weapon, e-bug eth armor, etc all non-repairible).
