It came to mind that team LLDs are one of the highlights of LLD, in my experience, requiring the players to combine both skill in usage of their own characters and maximizing each other's strengths in working together as a team, so I was wondering if anyone else felt like it would be fun and interesting to add a 2v2 team section to the LLD101 arena. At least on US East Ladder, I know that there would be several people interested in entering, especially since hell rushing is now an option.

Thoughts on this, anyone?

I think 3v3 would be better overall, then a 2v2.

If you are talking lvl 30, the GT clan would be down for this. we got 3 people dueling at lvl 30 now, and have another lvl 30 1\2 way done.

Absolutely yes -- although I think there may need to be a debate about the use of cleansing/holy bolt. But hey, why not just try it out and play with the rules afterwards.

As for the case where the top 2 people pair up -- is this really a concern? The point of Arena is to identify the top dueler, so why would having the top 2 paired be a problem?

I think with proper strategy and teamwork, it would be much easier for a 2v2 to pull off a dueling upset rather than in 1v1.

Ya, I agree with the "top 2 people" thing, and the "cleansing" thing.

Feelings will get hurt when nobody chooses people as teammates...just like elementary school.

Feelings get hurt every day on Battle.net when people call other people "noobs" and other assorted insults.

So what if the top 2 people team up together? I have more of a problem with people who EBay all their items, which ruins the point of the Arena for legit duelers who work to build characters from scratch.

i would definately be interested in this, as im sure several of my lld friends would be too. problem is we play west. but im sure we could set up something like that on west too.
