Sigh. And my bad luck continues...

With my lvl 34 asn, I've shopped 6 noxious of the magus wands over the last few days. Here are the ones from before today:

Bone wand - +1 Iron Maiden
Bone wand - Plain
Bone wand - +2 Psn Nova, +3 Decrep

Then Today, In about 1 hour and 15 minutes, I got these 3:

Yew wand - +2 Iron Golem, +2 Summon Resist
Bone wand - +2 Iron Maiden (Do I see a pattern...? Evil or Very Mad

)
Bone wand - Plain

That last plain noxious bone wand of the magus was the dagger in the heart though because just above and to the right of it was a noxious bone wand with +3 Bone Spirit...just sitting there...so close yet so far.

One of these days...it will all pay off. One of these days...

Did you check prices to see if you would be able to afford your future wand? I mean, what if you found your dream wand but you couldn't afford it and no friends were on? Confused

you leave and come back with a higher level thats in the same act and has lots of gold. or you go afk and periodically come back so you dont get kicked from the game to check if a friend has come online.

I have close to 1 million gold on my lvl 34. If it's not enough, I'll sell what I have in my stash and inventory. Laughing

too bad once you;re full of gold, you cant add more. gold from sold items will just drop on the ground. =p

anyways, digging up old posts, and decided to sticky this one, has alot of info, and i spent half an hour looking for it.

dream scepter:
2 offensive auras
3 conviction
3 foh
3 holy shield
+15 life regen

so my question is this. is there a calculator to see the percentages of getting +skills on items. or only one for the prefix/suffix? i was looking at the affix calculator, and if im right, i need a level 45 character to shop a war scepter with +2 offensive auras.

so now i want to know, is there any way of figuring out the character level for my dream scepter? or is there only a way to figure out the prefix/suffix and then pray for the right skills/number of skills?
2 offensive auras is lvl 40, +15 life regen is lvl 38. input ilvl is 50, so that means 45 right? im still slightly confused, but i think i get it.

Thx to this post, i've got the noxious of magus after only about 2-3 days of shopping, 2hr each. the wand is 2 pnb, 20 fcr and 2 spirits, 1 off from what i want but still good. gosh, i did so much run with my lvl 99 and 92 sorc and not even close to the amount of noxious i see now with my lvl 34 zon. Thx alot for the tip. Too bad i just read it last week, so i've wasted so much time before shopping Mad

what type of wand fantasy? i managed to shop a noxious yew of the magus with +2 spear +1-2 some useless curse with my level 80+ character. that was befor ei knew character level affected shopping too.
