Helm: +3 boulder/2os with flawless rubies
I found this one doing norm cows and was hoping to get 3os from it, guess not.

Armor, Ammy, rings: Angelics(flawless ruby armor)
+20 life from each ring, 75 from ammy, +50 mana, 10 dex, huge def bonus for armor and +1 skill.

Weapon/Shield: Crushflange mace(with+8 life jwl)/Sigon shield
Since boulder has a cast delay therefor making FCR useless, i use crush to get an extra 15 str to use sigs shield.

Gloves/Boots: Bloodfists/Kings boots
Bloods for the life and FHR. Kings allows me to hit 75% block

Belt: Lenymo sash
+15 mana, 30% regen and some resists. I desperatly need the 30% mana regen due to the high mana cost for boulder.

Charms: 37x 10 life sc's and a 12% FHR/20 mana GC
Yep. The GC is a life saver.

Stats: Enough to use Sigs shield, rest into Vit
ends up being about a total of 71 Vit***

Skills: Max boulder, maxed oak sage and the rest went into fire storm

Seeing as fire storm only help the fire dmg by very little, i havent even done 3 skill quests that would have gone into firestorm.

FINAL RESULT
Life w/o oak sage: 787
Life with oak sage: 1455
Molten Boulder Damage: Phys:83-103, Fire:102-127, Fire/sec:146-152
Block: 75%
mana: 133
FHR: 42%

*** NM and Hell 'Lam Esens' quest not done

Any thoughts, great.

interesting build. props to u for being original. dunno how effective it is tho since boulder is so slow and easy to avoid. im sure hes real fun tho. i have a 16 fissure druid with almost same equip. but he uses angelic sabre to get the 1 to skills on the ammy and twitch for armor.

Cast timers actually affect the cast rate. The cast timer comes into effect directly after the spell is cast, but the spell is cast halfway through the cast animation, so the second half of the animation occurs during the timer. This means that the second half of the animation does not lengthen the total cast time of the spell. This affects fast cast rate equipment by halving the bonus you get from it. Since the animation is cut in half, any increase in speed is halved also.

This means that for an unshifted druid, the cast breaks for timered skills are:

0% - 10 Frames
10% - 9 Frames
30% - 8 Frames
68% - 7 Frames
163% - 6 Frames
909% - 5 Frames

This obviously has repercussions on the usefulness of fcr equipment. For a spell like firestorm with a short timer, getting to a high level of fcr will increase the speed of the spell quite noticeably, but for say hurricane, where the cast timer is 150 frames, increasing that by 4 frames will be pointless. The exception to this is when you are playing a meleemental build, as the cast time will directly affect how often you get stunned out of casting. In this situation, it is much better to do as much as you can to maximize cast rate.
