make sure you are using the right link imageshack gives you (the show this image to friends link) and make sure you are using the right avatar option in your profile (Link to off-site Avatar:
Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image you wish to link to.)

i know im not a new user but today i was trying to get a avatar up..i was using the imageshack site to try and do it and i tried just straight off my computer. it just says denied or something.
