i found a nice lv15 pcomb ammy with fcr and stuff and started wondering if a lv18 hammerdin would be a good idea. i fooled around with a skill calculator and without a godly scepter my damage would be lacking. anyone made one of these before? and are they good vs zealots/concers?

I only get about 211 hammer dmg or somthing but it still works.

Eye of etlich is better than any combat amu though i think. You REALLY need the extra lvl in conc.

vs conc barbs you should win mostly, same with zealers who havnt skilled charge. But then again casters are usually > stand-and-swing melee...

I find it VERY useful to have a switch weapon for charging with, somthing like a 6max jeweled pick and 6x ed 11x ar shield with maxers. You will also have lots of points left to skill charge or its synergies too if you hell rush. If not, it doesnt really matter as you can max all hammer related skills with just a norm rush.

They are viable if you put some extra work into them. One thing to keep in mind is that ull have plenty of extra skill points, so you could in fact make it a hybrid. IE you can dump spare points into charge and have a charge weapon on switch, or even dump into player/cleansing for regen. Main thing to be worried about is mana though. Also im not sure if a 1pcombat 10fcr amulet is better than eye of etlich or not, Id think ud want all the +skills u can get for more damage, but im not an expert on this build though I have seen it done before.

I've found some very nice jewelry for a lvl 18 charge/hammer hybrid, my only problem is that I know how low the hammer damage is and I figure I'll just end up using charge all the time.

i made one @ lvl 20 with steelclash, eye and tarnhelm. ended up with just over 400 dmg, which is plenty (~67 pvp dmg). but i couldnt keep up with charging and hammering on my short mana supply so i gave up on him. i even had 99% mana regen

I had a +3prayer scepter with +max jewels and a 4eth shield on switch when I had mine. It helped a bit.

i made mine with next to nothing hes does more then well

you kinda have to give up a few 15 lifers for mana grand charms

mine does like 220 damage with 700ish life and 350ish mana
