Should I get ES or not?

If made correctly, I could tank a lot more hits, but i just dont know...

And without it I would have higher dmg...

it all depends on how much mana youll have total, and slightly how many points into telekenisis youll have. if you have over 800 mana, go for it. you can get away with less if you dedicate 8+ points to telekenisis

I used all energy build and all life (and a few life/mana ) scs and hit around 900 mana.

Dont put a point in ES, have a precast orb on switch.

Talk to *hc_nut (rancid, gg_unknown on forums). He was very helpful with my blizz sorc and knows alot about them.

s vs s i don't see how you can win with out Es, but like voices said you'll need quit a bit of mana. infact, if you don't get 650+ Es will probably do more harm than good. mana regains a lot faster than your life will and takes nearly all elemental damage so its basicaly like having mad life regain. the only problem i have with some sorc's are hell rushed Fb sorc's. there damage are very high and takes all my mana in 2-3 fb's( i have just over 1100 mana). also, i don't have any experience with sorc's that don't use teleport... so if your planing to build it stricly by the books (no tele) i'd use Es for sure for the pure fact that ppl can't name lock//tele then spam the hell out of ya. and yes get a precast orb with Es and either Shiver or Chilling armor, its a must. blizz sorc's do pretty low damage so every point counts.
