Spazz: I can see Frenzy barbs being okay to duel with. Added to the list.

Apac: Correct. No maphack, and no mana pots will be allowed. Plan on having enough mana through charms, and enough regen to keep you going.

All other entries eddited into the first post. I will be sending out PM's to verify all of this information this weekend.

About Spurs vs Strides. I dont feel that I should be restricting the boots. While you do have to make some sacrifices for a Hawkmail, and very little for boots, keep in mind that you must stack resistances too. You're making sacrifices in your charms when you do that.

90% Fire res to a 3k fireball is significantly more than 90% of a 1.4k blizz.

Keep in mind, that sorceresses will not always be teleporting. They may have to run during some duels. In that situation, sacrificing 20 frw for another 5% maximum fire resist doesnt really make sense.

uuuummm i was just wandering, say its an cs zon and say a hammerdin vs a team with a sorc, is the hammerdin allowed to use charge and how is it possible to beat a cs zon without teleport?
PS are ele druids allowed to continuously recast cyclone armor?

I think the team without sorcs should be able to chose between no tele and no absorb or tele and absorb.

hfcx and I discussed the teleporting issue.

The reason I decided I wanted a teleporting restriction is because I didnt want teams of two sorceresses to be dominating the competion. Teleport is a large advantage, and I didnt want people to be unhappy with the fact that two good teleporting sorceresses could pretty much take out everyone.

So I decided that if the teams were unbalanced as far as Sorceresses went, that the team with the lesser amount should be able to set the restriction of whether or not it should be used. HFCX brought up a good point here. If you have a team of long range non-sorceress characters, such as a GA zon and a Spirit necro, they can refuse to duel tele-sorcs every round. Adding +Max Resist items on top of it means that they will not only outrange the sorc, they will be able to tank many many more hits. This leaves a non-tele sorc beings somewhat useless. They do not have the mobility that they need for a semi-short ranged attack.

This is the solution that HFCX came up with:

If the Teams contain an equal number of sorceresses, teleport is allowed. If the number of sorceresses varies, the team with the lower number of sorcersses may chose either to wear + Max resist or to ban the use of teleport for the duels. The team with the greater number of sorceresses will always be eligible to wear + Max resist. This will be decided before the first series of the duel and maintain its effect until the end of the series.

Examples:

1) 2 Sorceresses vs 2 CS Amazons

CS Amazons decide to wear + Max resist, Sorcs may teleport this duel.

2) 2 Sorceresses vs 2 Bow Amazons

Bow Amazons decide to forbid teleport, Amazons may not use + Max resist.

3) 1 Sorc, 1 Paladin vs 1 Sorc, 1 Barb

Both Sorceresses may teleport.


Adressing 2fat's question:


Charge may not be used for anything other than a mode of transportation by a hammerdin

Its possible to beat a CS amazon without using teleport. Make sure you have

a) 75 Resists
b) As much MDR as possible
c) No ES!
d) run/walk
e) A partner

Windy's are allowed to recast. If you think about it, without cyclone armor, Windy doesnt really have much going for it. The projectile path is short, slow and unpredictable. They pretty much have to use a spectral shard to maintain a decent FCR. They have low life (2 life per vita), no way to move rapidly aside from losing life for frw charms, and nothing to divert the damage like ES.
