(first off, ladder=top players in dueling area, I'm not talking about ladder/nonladdeR)

I looked through the forums and couldn't find a dueling ladder, if there is one already you can just lock this.

Chars are with all lld rules into consideration except chars may be hell rush(I've heard many good duelers do that)

Rules:

-To gain a spot you must defeat the person directly ahead of you, if you are not on the ladder you have to challange the person in 3rd(or 5th)
-Duels must be best 2 out of 3, both players must agree on the winner of the duel. If disagreements duels will be restructured with another person watching
-In order to move up a spot, you must post a screenshot of your victory and the other person agreeing in the screenshot, or both duelers most post in this thread.

Grace Period
-Person challenged has 3 days to duel the challenger or loses spot as a loss.
-After WINNING a match, you may not be challenged or challenge another for 2 days.
-After LOSING a match, you still may be challenged.
-Your character has one challenge per day. If you lose a match you may not challenge another person with that character for 24 hours, though you may challenge another with a different character.

-If there are any character classes that should be added/removed, suggest them here. Those are the char classes I was pretty sure had a lot of duelers in. If there was one I missed you can post it here.

-No "xxx sucks, I can beat him I should be #1", posts without evidence(screenshot or loser agreeing) will be ignored.

Last Note:
I'm sure it will take a good 2 weeks(atleast) to get the ladder filled up, if you have a char that fits the req that can duel, just post char name and ill put it on ladder for now. In a few weeks with challanges, the ladder should be pretty even.

#1 your missing a bunch of fields, certain barb builds, assassin variants, etc.
#2 if I understand this right, you can't really self-appoint yourself best zealer...

Thats why I said for each POPULAR group.
Two months ago there was easily 10 level 29 barbs. Now theres 4-5.
Level 18 zealots? Easily 10 of those.

But yeah, I guess top 5 will do. 3 is way to.. not good. I forget the word that start with v that sounds like fag.

If you challenge him and win, you have two days before you can make another challenge, or for that char to be challenged.

-After LOSING a match, you still may be challenged.
If you fight him and lose, you cant challenge another person for a day, but the person below you may still challenge you. (This is to prevent you from constantly challenging the person in front of you so you dont go down)

-Your character has one challenge per day. If you lose a match you may not challenge another person with that character for 24 hours, though you may challenge another with a different character.

Each rule is per character. If your character wins a challenge, that specific character cannot be challenged for that spot, but if you have a different character that one may still be challenged.

i have another question. say rampage's zon takes the number three spot from me and then takes the number two spot. after that, his barb comes in and takes the number three spot from me. in other words the ladder will look like this:
1. Bx-Jabediah
2. Lil_KiraSin
3. Lil_BitMean (that's his name if i remember correctly)
now say he wants his barb to be number one, how will he do that? i mean, he can't exactly duel his on zon unless one of his son's get on. however, i can't duel my own characters because i don't have two computers or know any people in real life that play d2. with the ladder i posted above, if his barb wants the #1, could he theoretically challenge his own zon and then forfeit the match on his zon, thus bumping his barb to #2 and his zon to #3? after that, he can then challenge me for the #1 spot.

First he would have to make sure his characters grace periods are up, 2 days since they had won the match getting them there. Then Bitmean challenges Kirasin and Kirasin just forfits(spelling?). Bitmean must wait another 2 days then challenge you.

That's not fair to the people who have multiple variants of characters..

Anyway, I had an idea for something like this back before I was banned, it was pretty much like this but there was 5 teams of 4 people, same basic principal. never took off, teams are too hard to organize. 1v1's are good, wonderful idea.
