i am doing this, for real. ive actually been thinking about if for like a week, but never said anything.
Im going to hold it in USEast Ladder Hardcore. Im thinking about having it on the sunday of June the 6th, 2004. Meet at the time of 7PM EST in channel Godz ironman. If you do not know what HC ironman is just pm me and i'll advise you.
This will be a lvl 9 event. and it should take 30 min to lvl char. then maybe 10-30 min to duel em.
No one will be able to leave the game, unless they drop by accident.
Any skill item will go, such as ctc to cast something, slow, cold dmg. all goes. even amp. these are lvl 9 non xferd duels, no restrictions.

Rules.

1. 1 Person can be a moderater, maybe knarl or pansy or if they can't i will.
2. It will be 1v1 each person will challenge another, and duel, if the other accepts, and ladder it up to the final 2.
3. Both duelers must say go before anyone attacks.
4. NO XFERAGE OF GEAR TO IRONMANCHARACTER.
5. If you leave or drop game u have 2 minutes to get back or you are disqualified.
6. No health pots/shrines/well's/monsters during duel.
7. You must loot the person you are dueling.
8. You cannot go back into town once both of you say go.

EDIT: Changed the date to the next day June 6th becuaes ch is haveing a hld melee tourny.

also. there will be a need for 2 mods because this tourny will be bigger than 8 people, i will mod but i would also like to duel so i guess me and 3 other trusted can mod and switch when it's their turn to duel.

im not going to make an account til i havent to (ie: the day the tournement starts). previous questions left unanswered.

that saturday is fine for me.
i get out of work around 1 so any time after 2 pm est should be alright.

suggestions:
1.) everyone should meet in a channel

3.) make a game. everyone must make their char, and join the game within 2 min.
4.) once every one is there: either split up and lvl, or party and stick together. i guess it would be personal preferance.
5.) drops are free for all (just no pickit)
6.) once you hit lvl 9 return to town and wait for everyone else to finish lvling
7.) once everyone is ready, duel
8.) if you die do you exit the game? if you do the person can return with a new char to watch

ugh this suks. if its on the 5th im gonna be out of the country and prolly wont have access to a computer for a month. hope u guys have fun without me. if for some reason it were to happen mabe before the 1st, then i could do it.

Unless blizz has changed this, you need to have a slayer char (i.e. a char that has killed norm baal) on the acct you use in order to make a HC char.

And since this is east ldr hc, the westies that want to participate will be needing a rush...
