Max/ed jewels used in an armor will not get a bonus to ed in the armor but they will keep the max damage. You will get a bonus to the minimum damage of your weapon though. Thanks for finding this thread, I've been wondering how my ladder stacked up against non ladder since that is the only way we can compare right now.
