 lvl 30 lite sorc |

After finding a rare circlet i have decided to give a good ol'college try at a lite sorc, here's what i have so far...(* stands for what i calculated dmg with)
Skills
--------
16 into charged bolt
1 to telekinesis
11 into lighting
1 into teleport
1 into light mastery
Now that leaves 4 leftover for either mana shield or synergies
Equiptment
--------------
helm- *rare circlet wit +2 lite skills and 30% faster run/walk (and sum resists can't remember)
Armor- *Vipermagi, either shaeled or prubied
Boots- sannders
dual *sojs
ammy- looking for a nice rare, *maybe eye of elitch will do until i do
Weapon- *Spectral Shard, or maybe a nice rare orb
Shield- *visceraunt
Belt- either SoE, and good rare 24 fhr 30 cold res belt, or deaths for cbf
Gloves- Frosties(?)
Stats
-----
Strength- enough for equiptment (frost burns being the highest)
dexterity- enough for max block
Vitality- everything leftover
Energy- nada
Now i have questions on whether lighting is fcr or fhr based, if fhr based, ditch spectral shard? What to do with leftover skills from quest? Should i worry about cbf only against some melee and cold sorcs? is it imperative to have DTM? i calculated the lite dmg to be 5-1237 <---how is that? this is my first lld sorc so go easy.....

i would go for whitstans shield, in the end it would save u alot of stats.

boy, you sure are tonnes of help. ever considered giving him reasons behind what you say?  you find it real easy to tell someone their build will suck, or it isnt up to par, but you hardly ever tell them why, or give them an idea of how to fix what you think the problem is.
maybe you should stop posting, as all you seem to do is hinder, not help.

What realm are u on im on useast and have this 2+ light skills 2+ lightning orb for trade if u need
also dmg seems a bit low also id go with frosties more mana since lightning has a casting delay fcr does nothing for it

Yeah.
TS auto hit, doesn't need mana
Lightning hard to land the hit, slow, damage is not constant, require good amount of mana
I suggest you use a skill planner to figure out what damage you can get on TS and lightning with your gears.

this coming from the boy who uses broken english, and doesnt know how to post the answer to two questions, in 1 post.
if you had an indication of intelligence at all, youd know i am the last person to "spoon feed" info. on top of that, this guy did alot of the thinking on his build himself, and just had a few questions. so tell me, where exactly are you spoon feeding him? and where exactly do you get off being a jackass?

think main reason he "hushed" was cause your a mod and he is not. 
but anyway back to topic on hand...im interested as well...why exactly would TS be better than lightning, in my experience TS does pitiful damage.

I'm not sure about how high the TS dmg will go for your level, you'd probably need a good orb for that, but I know meitou had a nice lightning sorc that used TS, it was good. If you're on east I have a +2 lightning +3 TS orb, but no fcr on it sadly, if you want to test some dmg. I'm just gonna say this because I didn;t want to but I can;t seem to hold myself back from it, I find it offensive when you insult people based on how well they speak english, he's from a different race and English is not his first language, he learned enough to get by and that's all he needs. I think it's bad to talk about non-perfect english in a negative way. I dunno sorry if it's out of line to say but it wasn't cool at all.

if he has the right to insult someone elses intelligence, then others have the right to insult his. its a lesson he will learn, and that lesson transcends language boundaries.
