depends on your gear. youll want atleast 50% in each type of dodging skill (after +skill gear, of course (dodge 12 avoid 7 evade 12)) and you might want 1 into valk as a decoy for casters.

id put 1 into pierce. your physical damage will be around 400-800, depending on many things, with 1 into pierce after +skill gear, youll probably have about a 38% chance, or so, to do double your physical dmg.

obviously max charged strike. and then depending on what skill level you goto and how much +skill gear you have (to save putting into dodge/evade/avoid) max your synergies in this order.

lightning fury
power strike
lightning bolt
lightning strike

lets say you have +6 skills in gear (not +javalin or passive, but +zon skill or +skill) and assuming you go to level 80 with a full all-quests-done hell rush, your skill layout should look something like this:

1 inner sight
1 slow missles
1 decoy
1 valk
6 dodge
1 avoid
6 evade
1 critical strike

1 jab
20 power strike
20 charged strike
1 poison jav
10 lightning bolt
1 plague jav
20 lightning fury

obviously if you have some +passive skills as well, you can take points out of evade and dodge, equal to that.

an old topic, but i have another question

how come people use charged strike mostly and not power strike?
power strike adds more lit dmg and it gives u atk rating, and charged strike only releases the bolts and doesnt add as much lit dmg

is there a special reason why charged is better?

you can get all the bolts or at least most of them from cs to hit, therefore causing zX as much dmg, where z is the number of bolts released. also, is this a dueler zon? cuz i would argue against needing 50 in the dodge skills if its only pvm, i would just get one pnt into them and get more like 70 or 80 pierce for lf

more often than not, only half the bolts hit. all the bolts, never hit.

oooh.... now i get it.... so the charged bolts from charged strike each do as much dmg as the charged strike itself...

and also, this is just gunna be a general javzon, one you can use decently well for questing and also decently well for dueling

mostly im making it so i can do nm and hell cows easier for mfing jewels and charms Very Happy

oh, then it wouldnt hurt to get 50 in the dodge skills even if you have to add a few more pnts

you sure on the bolts? i thought if you were positioned right you could get all the bolts to hit a player.

hmm the zon moves charged strike, power strike, lightning bolt, and lightning fury, do any of those moves actually do signifigant physical damage or is it mostly just lightning dmg?

Her main attacks will be cs for pvp and fury for pvm. Noone uses ps because for one thing its slow and another it requires ar unlike cs or fury. I'de recommend stashing a coh and a sanc sheild for layered res when duelling elem chars and also stash a demon arch for pvm because the varied elem damage on your weapon is carried over by your lightening bolts when they hit monsters. Another thing to consider is if you really want to invest the strength points required for a thunderstroke if you arent gonna remedy that with an enigma. Heres a couple of varied gear set ups...
For duelling melee chars:
Enigma
Stormsheild
Griffons eye
Thunderstroke
I'm not gonna go into jewellry or a belt but you obviously need someting with cbf on it so w/e floats your boat.

For dueling elem chars
Coh
Sanc
Eth titans or a nice rare with +2zon/+2java/30ias
Same statement here for jewellry and belt
Imp boots either setup
Cs zons are fun and very flexible but you can tell from the above gear list a little pricey. Have fun with her Smile
