Since I've started on west and had my lld cs zon up and running, I have come across a couple of these lvl 30 bm smiters. Their weapon is generals, and they use holy freeze aura. With my current gear I can't do jack to them, and I'm wanting a little help on some optional gear for when I come across these loosers. I was thinking of just putting sol runes in a helm, armor, and shield. These are the items I'm thinking of putting sols in. Let me know if you think this will help or if you have some other gear selections.

1zon 30frw 2os circ 2x sol'd (14 dr)

Rockfleece sol'd (10% dr + 12 dr)

3os shield 3x sol'd (21 dr)

Giving me w/o % a total of 47 dr. Will this be enough to negate whats left of the smiters dmg considering hes not using fanat?

Edit: F'ing game crashed while xfering so instead of 1zon 30frw 2os sol'd circ, I will have to use a duskdeep sol'd. So f'ing gay, I s/e before game crashed yet found out I lost all of above setup when I made ng Crying or Very sad

For my kicker, I go to the extreme.

3sol helm 21
4sol armor 28
artisans shield of (whatever its called) 24dr
bladebuckle 3dr
and a ar/mana/2dr ring
gobby toes 1dr

Holy freeze/slow smiters suck because unless they are hellrushed, they don't do enough damage.

I use my blade furysin, holyfreeze+slow+cold damage doesn't affect it's attack speed, it stays at 6 frames.

+bf hand scythe is good for an assassin...

waching them with generals before dueling them is viable. Do they suck or are they tough?

mass damage reduction takes down a huge chunk of dmg from them because they use HF. you'll be invincible to them if you sol all your gear.

even with an all dr'd out char u still wont win.. or u should rarely win as long as they smite u IF u have dodge skills. and even if u dont have dodge skills i believe ud need max ias to get past holy freeze alone. my 2cents duelign them.. First off learn to Fc (Legit).. that would help most. And always keep range on them.

As a side note dont use Fc (UnLegit) thats completely bm and annoying..[/quote]

Have you tried a 6shael'd +3jav maiden spear? Attack with cs then run back, attack with cs then run back, attack with cs then runback and repeat.

Don't get dodging skill trees. With sols and shaeled 3java maiden spears you will have chance vs such smiters.
