Im making a lvl 15 defiance smiter and i wanted to khnow if ed jwls were working for pumping the dmg.. cause i khnow maxdmg dont

They do work, but the ed% on a spiked shield with no + holyshield is so minimal its hardly worth waisting a jewel mod on.

so if i understand i shouldnt put my 20 ed jwl on my swordback to pump my dmg? ... is there a way to calculate those dmg?

smite dmg on swordback is 15 dmg? well it would add 20% of 15 dmg, which is 3 damage. i believe thats how it works. and it would add that 3 damage to your total, not your base
