Okay, this is a pet peeve of mine, but I keep see people doing it both on Ladder and NL.

Putting a 20 ed / 15 max jewel in a Cleg's Sword gives you 18 Max Damage. An 18 max jewel is about 1/4 of the value of a 20 ed / 15 max jewel.

If you really want 18 max damage in your Cleg Sword, trade your 20 ed / 15 max jewel for four 18 maxers. That way, you get the same damage on your sword and can make a 54 max damage crown to go with it! And hopefully the person who buys the 20 ed / 15 max jewel will use it properly.

Same goes with an Azurewrath: 20 ed / 15 max in an Azurewrath is 19 added damage. A 19 Max jewel runs about half of a 20 ed / 15 max jewel. If anyone on East NL really wants 19 added damage in their Azurerath, give me the 20 ED / 15 Max jewel and I'll give you two 19's for it. And I'll have the better end of the deal.

Yes. Maybe if people see in big bold letters PLEASE DON'T DO THIS, they won't do it.

Knifer, just ouch. Although a very knowledgeable person told me that the ED/Max bug in armors is actually just a display glitch - another example of the lying character screen. I was pretty skeptical, but he said there was a detailed explanation at DTrades or some other site.

If anyone can shed any enlightenment on the ed/max bug, I'd love to hear it. I don't know enough about single-player to test it out myself.

The other day I stopped someone who would have put 3 20/15 into a crown I just traded to him, and bought those 3 20/15s by 3 15max with minor mods. Good deal for both of us I guess.

i think my best 18lvl maxer jewel is.. 15max dmg? :D who are thouse lucky bastards who get these 15/20ed and 16-20max dmg jewels for 18lvl? ^^ tell me where they live >:3 i might visit them :)

uh oh, what was his name? I bought 3x 20ed/15max jewels (all different colours mind you) about a week ago, maybe a bit more.

I can't recall his name but i'm sure if you say it itll come back.

He PM'ed me saying that he could get more in a week - he just had to wait for his friend to get online. I haven't followed up with him since, but it seemed pretty suspicious to me.

They had to be duped if someone who didn't know ED bugs had that many. But theose jewels are permed somehow.
