hey, i saw meitous necro and it was very good for being a lvl 9 necro... but i just wantedto voice my opinion...in this topic evyerone post their opinion of his necro and if possible i want meituou to post his build... i dont want to make one but its so sweet... he made a lvl 9 nec viable... the first one ive ever seen

Using what skill? I've always wanted to see a teeth necro but I figured it would be damn near impossible.

Its a melee necro that uses Amp and Bone Armor to very good effect.

rwar, he used my build though he claimed not to have known of it before he made his. i made a level 9 melee necro a couple months ago with the following build:
9 bone armor
4 clay golem
i had a 3amp/3bone armor and a 2amp/2bone armor shield on switch for casting amp.
of course he had better gear than i did, he's meitou. however, my necro has a much cooler name, Bx-UpTheVolume. for those who don't get it, i'm sorry.
anyway, the only way he can take down my asn is if he runs whenever i get a charge going so that i don't release it. i think this is a very cheap tactic and it renders all asns worthless because with the first hit, you won't break all the way through his armor which he'll just recast. it's not that i have a problem with recasting bone armor (hell, i did it on my necro), i just don't think you should run that much in melee duels.

hey, yeah me and meitou been talkking about his necro.. its really good but yeah i rate it a 10...

Yeah, bone armor is annoying if you're ranged, too. Nothing like having to hit 4-5 times as a throw barb vs a decently synergized/leveled bone armor and the necro undoing it with one cast. The only way I can deal consistent damage to a nec recasting bone armor is if I get out a set of balanced knives and get a good series of hits in via the faster speed of double throw with -20 speed BKs. -.-

Also, mei's nec uses a scepter with sac charges as his main attack skill.

who's idea was mine in the first place for having a lvl 14 melee nec where i got the idea on hc from a private pk. anyways, mei's is really good and ownzors my... fudges shitty zon but running and recasting isn't very nice, but it's his tactic and who am i to judge other peoples things. nice necro.

Meitou's Necro is very good and he is to be congradulated on thinking outside the box both on the build and tactics. He is not unbeatable. Each of my characters beat him at least once but he constantly adjusted his gear and his strategy until he beat me consistently. I was as impressed with his adaptability as I was with the character build. Now it is up to us to adapt too. Although his character is not tourney legal because of using charges he certainly has the right to lay claim to the best VLLD around if he continues to beat everyone else. I have a few ideas to even things up the next time we duel. You guys get your thinking caps on and figure out how you are going to beat him. And remember to consider every lvl 9 skill that is available to your character class. Things that you would normally not consider using against most opponents might be just the ticket to defeat the necro. Now get to work!

smiter's are too negatable... my zon had all -damage gear for bx's but too bad i never got to put it to use.

I know you had the idea first Godz and then B[x] but nobody made it work like Meitou did. Few ideas are truly origional. Most are simply improvements on an existing idea. Meitou's Nec is a drastic improvement!

And 2Fat, I don't think there is any way a smiter is going to beat that Necro. Smiters are low damage but they never miss. Bone shield negates the damage that a Smiter is capable of inflicting. I could be wrong but I think the Necro will own any Smiter around his level easily.

Thank you all for the concerns. To the ones that are curious but without maphack, the necro is using:

superior mask 39defense/8-37damage/cold resis 9%

superior ancient armor 266defense/str req 40/11-40damage/38AR/-60%req

bone shield 41defense/deflecting/17%FHR/1-18damage/73AR

war scepter with lvl 10 sacrifice charges 24AR/-30%req

hsaru's boots/belt/bloodfist or death glove/belt and hsaru's boots

some soso rare amulet and rings

mostly plain 15 life large charms, a few grand mana charms.

Skills are 9/4/7 bone armor/clay golem/amplify damage

There are still improvements that could be done to him.

Oh, as for what can beat this kinda necro. I think a sac din with lvl 1 smite has good chance, also a lvl 9 firestorm druid would do well. Not sure if any kinda of poison would work, but it's very possible.
