Best lvl to find Cow King Boots?

ive been mfin solo in normal cows for the whole day and no luck...when i do find a set boot it was sander....OH dang it...so what lvl is the best to find king boots and how much mf? i would think normal it best place but after this whole day...plz hlp give info...

as far as i know, char level doesnt affect item drops.

You do know that only the cow king can drop them right? Not just any old cow.


I have only ever found 2 pair and they were both from a 90+ hdin.

actually any cow can drop it but the king has higher odds because it usually drops a lot of rare/set/uniques. just make sure when you kill him that you have already killed the cowking in previous game for quest so it doesnt mess up quest for everyone else.

Ive never gotten boots from other cows, Although I have gotten the armor and I think the helm from other cows. Usually the unique cows.

i have been at it again and i found 2king armor still no boot or helm...should i go to NM cows or remain in normal? unless hell cows are the best chance of it droping...

If the baal quest in that difficulty hasn't been completed yet, you can kill the king as many times as you wish without messing up the opening ability.

Vouch this. Hell cows have more uniq cows and therefore > chance for a set item to drop. Norm, NM, or Hell will spawn the boot it is called do TONS of runs. Another option = find something of value and trade for the boots here at this site Very Happy A handful of life scs should buy you a pair IMO.
