peterpaulrubens dug this up over at the BB, i decided you folk may be interested. Not sure if this is common knowledge or not:

An interesting and unusual aspect of str bugging:

A character wearing items which grant boni to Faster Run and Walk - FRW - just with support of other items which are checked later in equipping order won't properly update his position on other players' clients.
So if a character is just able to wear his FRW shoes with strength boni from Charms, his movement is displayed calculating velocity without that shoes to other players. This causes desynchronization and is very disgusting PvP behaviour.

Interesting. Do you know if the reverse is true as well - like if I strength glitch a heavy armor and a heavy shield, will I appear to be faster than I really am on the other player's screen?

I woiuld guess that it's untrue.

But if it's true, you could str glitch 30 frw from boots, 30 frw from circlet, and 25 frw from stealth.

You can strength glitch 40 faster run/walk from boots, and you cannot glitch a circlet.

Yeah I guess circlets don't have str req.

However, glitching Sander's isn't realistic since they are 18 str.

I was referring to Natalya's.

Meitou, I was thinking the same thing. Ele druids are the only casters I know who wear Stealth at level 30, mainly because they rely so much on faster r/w for positioning. Being able to desynch with a Windy could be a nice advantage. And since both Cuirass and Mesh Boots have 65 str req, it wouldn't be too hard to glitch both.
