Icanneverwin

I have a tank with 4 gold fish in it. I can't be specific if it has a type or what not but, the smallest and lightest color fish likes to float at the top up side down and sometimes sideways. I keep thinking it is dead and it decides to swim away when I stare at it. .... Then it swims to the other side just to flip itself upside down and chill there.

What is happening?

I'm guessing if he keeps doing it, he's fine. I've never had a fishy do that to me before.. Oo

it has a problem with its swim bladder. how often do you change the water? it could be parasitic, but since the other 3 dont have it it might not be. sorry to say, but your fish is probably going to die soon.

Yeah, i had a fish like that. He just floated on the surface but when you tapped the tank it would try and swim. It was like he was too buoyant and couldnt fight against just floating to the top. He died soon after too.

I hate a fat goldfish that has done that since I got him,and he's been alive longer then any of the others. My cat always trys to eat him though Rolling Eyes

get an alligator or a bear, and when it gets 2 big for u to keep, just release it in a city somewhere.

Or get a ferret. I went to my friends house the other day, and he had one. It like played with his dog, and they would fence in thier living room and just let it run around. it was pretty sick. Idk if it was normal that ferrets were nice b/c i had heard that they could be pretty nasty. But my friend would like spin it on the wood floor, or throw it a few feet onto the carpet, and it would come back and play with him some more.

neways... get a ferret.

EDIT: Sorry to say, but your fish is going to die soon. Sad

i used to have fish, and that is a sign that they are going to die.

My fish has been doing this for at least a month.... if not longer. Since i got out of school (begining of may)

He's a resilient fish then.

And ferrets are fun to play with, but they smell really bad. I personally enjoy raccoons Smile

Raccoons! A friend of mine had a pet raccoon. One day it just wandered into his backyard, and became his pet. It was funny, because the raccoon would come and go as he pleased, but always returned to his house. Then it went missing for a few days, and showed up all bloody and dead at his house. Dunno if something ate it or it was shot.
