I'd go with a grief pb. It gives you a decent smite as well.

eh? There is no way an ebotdz can outperform grief anything in terms of average damage.

No, you can't delete your own posts.

grief does more damage then ebotd any day. a +340 dmg grief does more damage than a 415%ebotdz. the damage is hidden from your char screen. and like krajee said, you get some not good smite damage and speed if you need it with a pb

what? impossible. Grief is a numeral +, in normal digits. But Ebotdz is a percentile. If the base dmg is greater than 100 the percentile overcomes the regular +dmg. Which it is with an eth zerker.

Anyways i got a ebotdz and a lwz (lw for fade prebuff)

the +dmg becomes the base dmg of the weapon. so a 35 dmg phase blade made into a grief will be doing 435 max dmg. 430-435 if i remember the numbers correctly (it doesnt really matter). and then all %dmg modifiers from skills and auras will apply to ALL that dmg, not just the base weapon dmg.

I always wanted to make one with fort zerk for the fcr lpl and res. But personally id charge with grief pb and get max block with spirit. you could also smite with a bit more ias at max speed.

I love you krajee.

I used Grief and Hoz for my level 59 Liberator JohnGalt and it worked really well. I also used a Silence Warspike vs high level sorcs. But yeah, where have you been Shard? Grief has a glitch where it does insane damage. It goes past damage reduction.

If I was to make a high level Libby, I might go with Doom though. Pretty strong and gets +2 skills with holy freeze aura.

I have never heard of this glitch, and it definitely does not exist in my experience. It just does a lot of damage and has some deadly strike.

Its the same glitch blizz has always had with damage +x (also found on the redeemer and asteron iron ward, hence why there were the most sought after smite weps before grief in gm leagues where you couldnt use doom). The damage gets applied when used with smite and it also goes through all the bonuses that your skills and gear give you. So the 340-400 damage on grief goes through any ed% you have from gear, +ed% from strength, ed% from auras, and ed% from smite (or conc, or zeal, or fury, or whatever you are using) and somehow it bypasses pvp penalties. Grief > any other wep damage wise
