I don't see why it's BM to do it. Do it back to them if you think it gives them such an advantage. I'll usually make an effort to kill it if it floats into my range. No one has yet to complain.

What happens when the spirit happens to float into an auto aim multi hit attack such as fury or zeal?

Iowa and a buncha other people criticized me when i killed his HoW...said i was a big BM dueler and that all the older llders knew that killing spirits was BM.

Its not Bm. The skill was created as a summon and not a personal boost for a reason. Its not bo folks. if its floating around its ok to kill the thing. but that's just my humble opinion.

What if they request that you not bo? Omg, then you're being BM by boing, holyshield, zeal, or using any other skill!

I was referring to the killin oak, casting ravens, recasting cyc armor/bone armor...etc. thought i made that clear with the post earlier referring to fudge's logic. Its like using exile on a pala against a barb. Most ppl dont say anything, but if they do and I don't have a zak w/ me I appologize for bm'ing. Its called common courtesy. Killing someone's spirit after they ask you not to is not showing any courtesy, therefore the other person shouldnt show any either.

I don't see why it's BM.. if you care so much about losing your spirits then just stand in town and don't come out...

well using lifetap in duels is bm, while using an oak sage isnt. i dont see the correlation. if you summon something, i say its fair game

Exactly, it's their fault for having a weak spirit. Just summon far enough behind, and when they go to kill it... kill them.

Well I say if you ask before a duel ok but if the spirit is not even mentioned then its not BM to kill it.The more restrictions you put in the less fun duels become.

I'd say it's not bm at all.

The problem I always have is people will run up and kill my oak, without anyone having said go.

Guess that's a pub duel for ya.

Its not BM... zzz

If the spirit is way out there in the field I never go for it since the opponent is going to get some free hits while I go for the spirit, but if its close enough to me or in my way I ALWAYS attack/kill it.

BTW there aren't any REAL set GM rules that everyone follows its just all opinion but basic rules everyone agrees with are no tap/juv/healing/slow/3rd party programs except MH/mass sorb I may have forgotten some other things but to me EVERYTHING else is free game.

Most attacks will kill the spirit even if you dont target it specifically, even more so because it has the very annoying habit of drifting right next to you no matter how far away you cast it. e.g. ww, zeal, fury, all ranged attacks etc.

So i think letting the other ~10% of attacks kill it too is no problem.
