Their health depends on the individual creature, not the breed of dog in general.

depending on location, will depend how much they shed.. and what you feed them... good dogs though

actually, bela, some breeds of dog are more succeptable to certain diseases than others. for example, pit bulls are extremely vulnerable to parvovirus.
i'd just suggest looking on that newfangled intronet thinger and see what you can find out about the species in general.

Huskys are awsome dogs, but like the rest of their family, they shed, ALOT.

I have two pure breds, one black one white.
They are sisters and they are the best dogs in the world.
Huskeys are very clean and quiet they only bark when startled (mine at least) they do shed twice a year but its possible to control it by brushing them every once in a while, unless trained with other animals they will kill anything smaller then them, I have had my girls kill cats/birds/rabbits/groundhogs/ and even a porkupine, had they been given the chance they would have killed several dogs some bigger then them but we pulled them off in time, I saw them rip a groundhog in 2 peices in a matter of a few seconds before.
Very trusty and nice, they will protect you also.
I also trained my dogs to pull me in a sled we made for them when there is enough snow. (LIKE NOW).
I would readily say get them.
