so my friend is having problems with this 1 lvl 18 zealer (on hardcore) and he wants to make something to stop it. what char would be the best to beat a lvl 18 zealer in hardcore?

does it have to be melee esq? because bonespear necro's do wonders, especially if your lucky enough to find ironmaiden on you spear equipment Very Happy

hehe, yea it should be melee. and lvl 18, so no lvl 30 trappers or anything Razz

or spearomancer... but thats @ softcore where potdrinking isnt alowed...
its a slow duel but necro's will win (most/all lvl 18 zealers have low mana so cant charge more than 5 times spear wont trigger DGTM, so not being able to reach the necro but he can reach you whit his ranged attack)

you guys are hittin that alllllll wrong. conc barbs, zealots, bone necs. none of them will work becuaes the life that these chars have...normally i'd say a bone nec but that definately will take too long. just like hammerdins and such, just chunking out life a lil at a time will not work.

i'm tellin u the best char to counter this zealot would be a 21 cs zon. with as much +skills as possible. walk away when he charges, the slow swing will give u time to turn around and hit him hard. other than that, a cold sorc will work too. what u need is non missing high dmg high speed hitts to take out this pally.

GODZ knows whats going on. its hardcore, you need to do something that'll stop him from just potting. you need to FINISH HIM!!! (sorry, friend just bought mortal kombat armageddon)

Lvl 18 hdins work like a charm, I just pooned some lvl 18 twitch,clegs clone in the last game, it wasn't a clean fast win but a win.

if the kill isnt fast enough, they'll just keep potting then eventually run to town.
