It is understood Mr Irwin was killed around midday, Eastern Australian time.

i've gone swimming with sting rays before. never even thought they could put their barbs right into my heart.

its sad, he was a good guy, and it sucks that he has a child. besides leaving a family behind, im sure its how he would have wanted to go.
