I have a question! Since the damage is only 300 ish and even with critical dont you think most people would chicken out in just a few hits thus you really wont be getting many ears?

most dueling will be done in public, and if they run away, their ear isnt worth having. any ear worth having, is a person who duels properly and isnt a public dueler. Wink

A bow on switch works wonders when trying to kill those runners.

Yea but I like chickeners ears 10 times more then regular duelers! If I loot duel I always give back the gear to the loser (if he dosent chicken out) but those that do and I finally kill them usually are dissapointed :\ maybe I am teaching them a lesson?

By the way...nicest guide I've seen in this forum yet! Awesome job.

I assume that with your 50/50 chance that if u didn't get 2 socks u went shopping again for another vulpine to try the socket q again?

the one socket one is still useable...put a 13max or something in it. remember, for both level 9, and 18 jabbers, vulpine bone shields of deflecting work perfectly fine, as long as you dont care about resale value.

putting a 13 max lvl 9 jewels into a 1 socket vbsod is a waste. i wouldnt put anything higher than a plain 10 max in it.

Sorry if this seems like reviving an old post but I wanted to add this on as a suggestion.

A vbsod seems very rare to obtain. With this build you will obtain 65 dex (25 base, 20 cow kings, 10 twitch, 10 angelics) Originally I was going to suggest a vulpine bone of blocking, because i've found 3 very easily shopping, but then realized the extra suffix isn't needed.

With 65 dex, even a regular bone shield w/o a suffix will obtain max block.

While shopping I saw a Vulpine bone shield of equilibrium. Dtm & 17 fhr. Just as a suggestion, try to get one of these so you can exchange the fhr charms for more life or other needs.

Just trying to add some info to this guide, please feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

As showing in the table he will need 3 more fhr to actually make that 17fhr worth anything. And im not going to check the fbr tables but that 30 from deflecting might up him a frame or 2.

15% faster block rate will get you the same block speed as 30% faster block rate.

If 15 will get the same block speed as 30, will the "of blocking" be just as good? I just can't find extra vbsod's, I have 1 but I plan on using it for a lvl 9 char.

Quick question-where is the best place to find throwing spears/war javs like that? Or, where did you find yours Mystic?

I've done nm Andy a lot, normal meph/diablo/baal, and nm meph too. I just couldn't even find a decent pair of them. The ones I use are fine (eth War Javs-replenish, like 90 ar, 30 ed), but I would love 20 ias ones, and I'd rather not reroll them since they are good, and I might not get eth repair ones for a while-plus, I wouldn't want to waste skulls if I can find out where good ones would drop.

Thanks.
