so i was just in a game where a lvl 13 sin was spammin hammers, rendering high lvls, myself included, unable to get close

worst part is he hosted me first, so i chuckled and just threw my wc javs at him but he female dogged me about throwing and sayin how high lvl duelers are overrated blah blah blah

what's the deal? is there a lld spam hammer sin build o_0?

you know im not sure, if it was lvl 15 maybe... but lvl 13?

naa, the hammer spam sin didnt' do much, then a high lvl trapper came in, they partied, one spammed hammers and one ran around traps, that was ownage, althought i could stand in her traps for 10 secs and not die

yes but duskdeep + nagel = they do zero damage.

at level 15 its possible to get level 19 Psychic Hammer
which does
27-30 Physical damage
27-30 Magical damage

after pvp reduction that leaves
4-5 Physical damage
4-5 Magical damage
Total of 8-10 Damage per hit

Now they only need 30%fcr to cast at 13 frames, thats nearly 2 attacks a second.

which works out to just under 16-20 damage a second.
so for good measure ill say they average about 17 damage a second (taking into account they dont actualy cast exactly 2 attacks per second)

10 rep life = 1 life a second
so you would need to have about 170 rep life for them to do zero damage.

Good math Nightwish.

Now I'll admit i was wrong too, i said to use dusk deep (7 damage reduced) and a nagel (3 magic damage reduced)

so they would do 0 physical damage to you per hit
and they would do 1-2 magic damage per hit(average about 3 damage per second) but for stating what i said with out any research done i was a hell of alot closer then you. you would need only 30 rep life to cancel out the effect with what i said, and its way more easy to put on a dusk deep and a nagel then it is to have to swap out all of your gear with p skull gear. im pretty sure they would run out of mana & mana pots before they killed you or you killed them before they kill you.

yea, but we were going on the basis that it was lvl 13, and therfore is not able to use +skill items.

Yes there are a few ppl who made lvl 15 hammer-sins.

But I dont know who...

okay lets asume their level 13, they can still have 13base + 1 from sigons giving 18-21 magic + physical damage. this is reduced to 3-3 physcial + magical which works out to about ~11 damage a second thus you still need 110 rep life(which you can't get)

and if their level 13, dusk deep + nagel would make them do zero damage, making me 100% right. still make your idea impossible.

the dmg is pretty much useless but the skill level determines the chance to KB.

a lvl 14 can have a crafted 10% FCR belt wich will allow them to hit the 65% (11frames) break .. the 15 allows for a +1tree ammy

better locking with higher Cast rate obviously and higher slvl
the 13 will be stuck at 12frames im quite sure (been a while)

it is a novelty build only imo

i found that a t-storm / telek sorc was fun...

the cool part was the low cost tele (3 mana) and the highly effective e-shield (maxed telek with 69% shield)

telek did about 80 damage and t-storm did about 550 average... not enough to kill any real llds, but fun as hell for non-resists melees and noobs....

but even 550 turns to 17 damage with max light resists (or something)

I have a lvl 35 that is a ph/mb sin. Most llds I cant beat, cause I dont do dmg due to the soe and the viper magi. But I find mlds and hlds are a tadbit easyer, because they dont have spirit on, meaning less fhr, so they cant get close enough to touch me. And ph doesn't require lock, you can just right click anywhere.

i had a lvl 9 ph sin and she didn't do good... fun to kill random pubs but against any real lld she would lose.. it is probably one of the most annoying skills, right next to slow missle.
