ok ive decided to take one more stab at the vengance pally but this time usign mroe of a mage set up. instead of half and half.
first bit of info i need is does vengance require ar..

The skill adds to AR, so obviously it takes AR to hit people.
Meit it's actually not true about the char screen. Blade sentinal doesn't display the AR you have when you use it, but I hit people with it with more AR, but I couldn't hit a zon with 300K Def (I tested on open hehe) so therefore it takes AR to hit.

well its weird i wanna make it lvl 30 but its melee.. but kinda not. its hand to hand but elemental so lvl 30 would be the lvl.

Don't the rules say that other builds can go to level 30?

But then again it also says melee pallies are stuck at 29, but I think allowing the use of conviction would be ok...

Well, personnaly (not that my opinion matters around here or anything lol) I would think a vengence pally could go to lvl 30. What aura are you gunna be using? If conviction, i could see you being able to go to 30.

If you can't go to 30, use holy shock as your main aura, BUT keep switching from holy freeze to holy shock to keep your opponent off blance with the cold. Basically, that strategy requires a bit of aura bouncing and good timing.
