Sacrifice already gives a lot of ed%, so you'll get more damage from min/max.

I cant think of any due to the fact that at low levels your damage isnt going to be high enough for ed to matter at all without dmg jewels.

psuedo i know that jabbers can use 20ed's to replace 9 max's but thats all they replace. example.

jabber uses 3x 9's in helm, 3x 9's in shield, and if she has 4x 20ed in armor its the same as 4x 9's in armor.

zons can use one piece of equip as ed for good dmg but never more than one piece. 20ed=9max

im not home right now so i don't have what it takes for sp and testing and stuff but im thinking that most likely zons are the only char that can use ed in body gear effectively.

ed% increases min damage too, so if you have a few x-y dmg jewels, you'll get a decent increase.

20ed isn't "equal" to 9max.

so you wouldn't use 20 ed jewels in a shield or a helm, like a 15 sup crown with 20/-15 req jewels to have a similar req str as a crown, but have more defence

isnt ed like using a mini max jewel? adds so much to minimum and so much to maximum damage

Most vlld I see use masks...not crowns due to the str reqs. Unless you are planning a defensive build which will cost you dearly either in godly -req/max, ed, etc jewels or in str reqs.

I'd say you want max AND ed or max...not pure ed. Not sure about how it works for zons...but max typically works best at the vlld level.

would you use the similar logic of a -60 req 80 ed armor with possible ar and life maybe in a 15 sup 3os crown? for example, a -45 req 60 ed ar and life crown, over a 3os mask with 3x mediocre max jewels?

This guide..as I remember it... it about a "basic" guide to building this char. -req/max jewels are about as common as finding (not buying) a Zod rune. So, what I'm saying is that typically vlld's use masks over crowns to save the reqs cuz I don't know too many ppl with 10+ -req/max jewels.

If they have that many jewels then this guide is too basic for them and they wouldn't be posting here I'm guessing.

By all means use crown...or while you're at it get some eth/rep stuff.
