i was thinking something like:

Gear
amu: +2 Cold skills with nice 2:nd mods
rings: Sojs
armor: Skin
orb: +2cold/+3blizzard/+3cold mastery
shield: Viscurant or Whistans or Rhyme
helm: +2cold skills circlet with some nice mods Smile

boots: Sanders or some rare resist boots
belt: Death's (if rhyme i use lenymo Very Happy

)
gloves: Frostburns

Skills (im counting with hell rush and all quests on hell)
6 Blizzard
12 Glacial
17 Ice blast
1 Cold mastery
1 Shiver armor
1 Warmth

could anyone give me suggestions on gear/skills plz? Smile

say how much fcr i need since teleport aint allowed and blizz aint dependant on fcr...

Your gear looks fine...good luck on that orb, use visc, use either the circlet or p crown, you can use deaths belt if you want, but I don't usually use it even against SvS blizz duels...nightsmoke or a nice rare w/ fhr, str, life, etc... is better IMO.

Skills should be:

7 blizz
20 ice blast
1 CM
1 warmth
1 shiver armor (or get an orb on switch to cast it)
Rest into ice bolt
1 prereqs

Don't put more than one in glacial because it only adds freeze length to ice blast, whereas ice bolt adds dmg. And they both add the same amount of dmg to blizz.

You don't need much FCR. Either the 37 or 63 break will work fine. If you have to sacrifice dmg/life/etc.. to get the 63, I wouldn't do it. I would rather stick with the 37 break, which is 10 frames and is more than fast enough to shoot ice blast when needed.

You can't go wrong with knarl's advices , and like he said , I think you should get a nice orb on switch , something maybe with EnergyShield and Shiver Armor would be nice , I have something like that on europe unfortunately for you Wink

sorcs always want more life/mana. for your gear, socket things with the following.

circlet = shael
visc = pdiamond
orb = 9dex/6str/resist/mana jewel
vipermagi = pruby

the reason for the shael is it adds 20%fhr. thats 4 scs you wont need to use. that opens up 4 more spaces in your inventory for 4*15s. 4*15 = 60 life. pruby = 38 life.

the longer it takes you to recover from an initial hit from blizzard, the better chances you have of getting hit again by the same blizzard. so i think having a decent fhr bp is important.

Energy shield is horrible on a typical lld blizz sorc. Your mana gets drained very quickly.

i have a tele orb on switch just so i can tele to town quickly for healing (i hate walking and didn't spend a point in tele).

i have an energy shield//shiver armor orb on my switch. i also think energy shield is a must, however i have just under 1k mana with decent mana reg.so if yours is low it probually isn't that good of an idea vs elemental ppl, but im just a newb throwin out idea's so dont' mind me ^_^

, like light res/fhr gear vs trapper and cold res gear vs windy druids and more like that ^^

You shouldn't worry about cold resist gear vs. wind druids in LLD. Their hurricane will not do a lot of damage. It would help to have cbf, but you want to have some dmg reduce like SoE against them to help against the tornados, which are physical dmg.

Ort runes in armor and p topaz in shield helps vs. fohers and trappers, you could have a spare p topaz visc, a spare p sapp visc (for blizz sorcs), and ort/thuled vipermagis, etc...
