pedu

I just found a war scepter with 2 to zeal and 5 sockets. So now im wondering what im supposed to put in it.
Should i socket it with:

a) 5 x 15 max jewels, lots of damage, 100ar less than with cleglaws. Compensate the ar with charms...

b) 4 x 15 max jewels + 1 el (or ar jewel) for a little more ar.

c) Some other combo

Ideally, you'd probably want 15 max jewels with ar, but those are hard to come by. If you must have a source of ar, don't use the el rune and use a p amethyst, it gives 150 ar as opposed to the el rune's 50 ar. I'd probably would just go for more damage with the max damage jewels and get your ar from another source.

I think ill put some ar charms in my inventory and max the sucker.

edit: i mean gems instead of jewels...

but zealots attack so many times. especially against others of the same lvl. would it be enough just to have more dmg and less ar?

Why dont you just use 15max/30+ar jewels? seems better or plain 18+ max dmg jewels

at level 18 even with mediocre gear (all plain 15 maxers and 15 life scs), you should still be around 1.7-1.8k ar. a few max/ar jewels, or ar/life scs should boost you to around 2k, which is plenty for zealots at level 18 unless you start facing 3.2k+ defiant smiters, which there arnt many on east at least.

max defiance for its level, get either a cube glitched 4 sock eth ancient armor or a rare/magic eth ancient with 60% ed, self repair, and two sockets. eth cube glitched 3 sock crown or helm with similar mods as the armor. for charms you will need a lot of 15 life/8-9 def scs.

ask zolas for more details cuz he has (or had?) a very good level 18 smiter.

also 15/with ed r best on war secpters ul get most ar from charms shield
the only way to get better than 15/eds is 20 maxer but id stil put 20s in shield rather than waste the ed on the other gear wich is les dmg in the long run also i would try get a better cepter like zeal and charge so u dont have to spend any skil points to get there and kill runers fast
