This topic was asked in a thread (forget who) but the idea sounds like lots of fun!

So, ONE week from today (plenty of time to build). Up to lvl 30 allowed norm rush ONLY! Only set items may be used...period! No charms allowed. An idea we had was to make sure no one had charms at start of tourney but make it ironman style where u get like 30 mins to find as many charms as u can and use only the ones u find for the duels. We can kick that idea around a little. We want to make this NOOBLET friendly and don't want ppl stacking their stash with 15 lifers that is the reason for no charms...to give the nooblets a fighting chance! If this gets popular we can start allowing charms once we get a bigger crowd interested!

Jewels, gems, runes are allowed. This is a test...if this goes well I'd like to make it apply to the 3 bp's (9/18/29-30).

I know we already have about 5 ppl interested on West...spread the word biches!

ALL SET ITEMS ARE ALLOWED...NO SUCH THING AS BM ITEMS IN THIS TOURNEY! If it is a set item...it may be used! Twisted Evil

Reply to this post if interested! Time that is best "usually" is after work or around 7pm PST (california time). Eventually we can make this thing with rosters and such but for now...just pack into a game and KILL EM ALL! Twisted Evil

free for all...no. That would just be NK. I don't expect more than around 8 ppl to sign up. So, I can either do the sign up list thing and have ppl challenge each other or just make it fun (for now) and make it official later. I guess if we get more than 8 ppl signed I'll do the list thing with challenges and we can break it into caster/ranged/melee. Lvl 30 for now to open up more options for everyone.

As far as rules...I can't think of any. Caster/Melee/Ranged...whatever...best build wins! Only reason I'm thinking of making this "open" is to encourage participation. Once we have a bigger following we can break into bp's/ char classes/ etc.

I'd appreciate your feedback tho Kraj.

BTW...is the MDR bug explained in a thread somewhere or can u PM me if it's a "secret" Wink

well steve since there is gonna be at most 8 ppl on this first try out.I suggest giving a desicion about lvl restrictions.. is it gonna be 9/12/15/18 or 30 any ideas guys?
I vote for 18
9/ would be poor about rings amys
12/ is fine
15/ is fine too but more options for 18
30/ would be good too but its just a try and honestly I dont wanna waste lot of time for it..
many socket qs will be needed.. T.T
any normal (white) items allowed?

Actually, now that you mention it 18 would be WAY easier!

OK, I vote for 18 as well the first time around.

9 would be too hard because you can't use a full set at lvl 9except sigs which is way too heavy realistically.

OK...we've talked it over and here are some updates:

Whites are allowed but no + skill items or pally shields because too much of an advantage. Set up should still be MOSTLY set items tho as much as possible. I think the exception to this may be for sorcs/necs as far as + skill items...but we can debate that a little more.

No jewels allowed! Gems and Runes ONLY!

Level 18 is the max to make things easier on the time investment etc etc.

No charms! No BM skills like iron maiden, thorns, holy freeze, etc.

I (wfg-dude) will offer a prize TBA since it was my idea.

One more quick decision to save u on sock q's...no sockets period! Well...u can have sockets...but theymust be empty.

Meh, I'm out. Letting people use normal items defeats the purpose in my opinion.

I vote for no white items, because casters wont have that much of a disadvantage because the set wpns all have low dmg on em.

Also I vote for lvl 30 as max, because that opens up more sets.
