hmm What would happen if u got a weapon And put a buncha min dmg jewels in it so that the min was higher than the max ;P Would the max become the min? or what... _________________   |

after ALL dmg is added up,, and min is > than max max would = min +1 10-14 blade talon (3 sock) +42 max dmg (all +14 maxs) 10-56 dmg avg = 33 10-14 talon (3 sock) +24 min (all +8 mins) 34-35 dmg avg = 34.5 _________________ Magic missile doesn't kill people, wizards who cast magic missile kill people.  |

over all youll have a higher average, but lower dmg. _________________

its not that simple when u start to use it statistically 1 min is the same as 1 max but when u test it in limited number of samples +1min comes out better then +1 max however in order to gain the statistical AVG benefit u must invest heavily into ONLY min dmg.. not a combination. imo the comparison from lowest to highest is like this +4 min jewel (low even when used in large quantities) +9 max jewel (avg) +5 min jewel (above avg when used in large quantities) +14max jewel (high) 4-9 jewel (extremly high) +8 min jewel (GODLY when used in large quanities) assuming 10-14 talons with 11 jewels in gear +4min 10-14 +44min 54-55 avg 54.5 +9max 10-14 +99max 10-113 avg 61.5 +5min 10-14 +55min 65-66 avg 65.5 +14max 10-14 +154max 10-168 avg 89 +8 min 10-14 +88min 98-99 avg 98.5 understand that this is from a SC perspective. when hardcore dueling u need to be able to upste your opponent with insane MAX dmg,, surprising them with an instant death so they cant just drink a rejuv. _________________ Magic missile doesn't kill people, wizards who cast magic missile kill people. |

Can u give me a list of all the lld jewels there are??? They dont have jewel lvl's on arreats

yes but in HC 99% of dulers have MapHack so they have chicken life that makes them auto log at a certain life so most of them log before they die, thats what has happened 90% of the time ive duled in HC. its cheap u risk yur items and they use hacks to cheat just lame. :\ |

well using the affix calc: http://www.diabloii.nu/affixcalc/calculate.asp?version=110&type=jewl&quality=mag&qlvl=1&inputilvl=45&maglvl=0&lvl=&plvl=&ilvl=&clvl=1 thats the link to see every affix that can be on a jewel that drops from a monster at lvl 45 as u can see the alvl = 45 as well "Realgar" is an alvl 45 mod.. Argent is lvl 44.... although i dont know the req lvls i would guess its 75% of 45 wich is 33 is Realgar lvl 33 req? is so its a coicidance.. but Most mods are req lvl 75% of alvl u can see all the different dmg mods possible, and there variations. as well as their Alvl.. but to figure thereq lvl of each affix, you could assume its 75%lvl _________________ Magic missile doesn't kill people, wizards who cast magic missile kill people. |
