level 29s have one.
18s should have one.

Remember to list any important stats (fcr if you are a caster, fpa if you are melee, etc.).

are these lvl 18's that you've tried?

and the lvl 18 sorc should be able to get the 9th frame for fcr. 10th is only 40 fcr req.

These are 18s that I currently have. I am aware that I can get 63%fcr, but I would rather have +skills on my orb (I do not have a +skill/cast orb).

How's he look at first glance? If anyone cares to know, I reckon I can post his gear/skills. I've only seen one other trowBaba so far and his attitude problem was inversely proportional to his skill. (english: big attitude, small skill)

i didnt know you could still get enough dmg on a throw barb to make them viable O.o :::arcane pictures himself murdering nubs w/ pointy sticks::: like in the good old days X)

Which I guess begs the question, "What is enough dmg on a throw barb?" I still haven't hit my last BP yet (20%ias godly throwspears where are you?!) for throw speed and he still throw's hella fast. Damage seems to be good. I would imagine he would be LLD's version of a BvC barb. Once I get knockback figured out, vs. melee is an even more viable option than it is now.

If nothing else, this guy is HILARIOUS to play in pubby duels (even not considering the glitch-blink-doublethrow). His name is iThrowPooAtYou, which has spawned hilarity such as:

pubby1 has been slain by iThrowPooAtYou
pubby1: WTF?!?!...LAAAAAAAAAAAAG...you just killed me from across the screen..
iThrowPooAtYou: eh? how the hell did that happen?
pubby1 has been slain by iThrowPooAtYou
pubby1: OMFG...what do you use?
iThrowPooAtYou: Poo!!!
pubby1: Can I see?
iThrowPooAtYou: lemme get his straight...you've never seen Poo before?! Shocked
pubby1: nope
...and it digresses from there. There seems to be an endless supply of Poo jokes (tastless as they may be Laughing )

Damage: 70-1003 (before getting 6/35+AR/17-20 life GC's)
Defense: 212
Attack Rating: 2435 with Might, 3267 with Blessed Aim.
Faster Hit Recovery: 7 Frames
Attack Speed: 5 Frames per Attack
Block Speed: 5 Frames
Number of times remade: None
Also, he uses Cleglaw's sword, so he has 50% Deadly Strike.

He has much room for improvement, he still needs a few more 15 life/10-12 AR Small Charms and several 6/35+AR/17-20 life GC's. Eventually, I might make a 65/120-121/80 Max Damage shield if I have sufficient AR from my charms and Angelic Set alone. I may also try to find a good War Scepter with good skills to stick extra 20 Max Jewels into to see which I find is better.

Still plenty of room for improvement, I think, but I'm pretty with how he turned out so far. Cheers!

At least give me a little credit -- my attitude problem is directly proportional to my skill.

for whoever asked, LLD throw barbs are as viable now as they were back in 1.09 when all the masteries were glitched. get two rare throw spears, a 3 socket barb hat, a twitchthroe, a death sash and gloves, and a cow king boots, and you're golden

as far as my stats go, i do roughly 350-750 with a plain throw attack. that's without a 45 damage hat or a NM rush. add 75% blocking, knockback, and my rugged good looks, and you've got a build that can take down almost all peers with ease.

i'll make sure to post my stats at some point tonight. in the meantime, you can whisper RoyOswaltII if you would like to see the glory of the throw barb firsthand.
