Finally decided to make him/her. I have about 15 lem runes and extra goldwrap, wealth runeword armor, gheeds and stuff like that. What class and build do you guys think is most suitible to kill nm trav and still have all goldfind gear? I really don't want to spend alot of time lvling this guy too high..I plan to stop at nm baal, so lets say lvl 60. My thoughts were lightning sentry trapsin, foh paly, fireclaw druid, or enchantress with an act 5 merc. Open to any ideas, thanks in advance.

A barbarian would be best if you had planned on getting to around 85ish.....I guess out of those choices, a trapsin would be best.

I guess you're referring to a WW barb with 2x 6lem phase blades?

yeah, trap.... the switch to a 6x lem sword and 4x lem shield Smile

with 10x traps with gf on it...

I kinda wanted to make this a cheap character =P
10 trap gcs gets kinda expencive and looking for 10 with gf would be hard lol
No need for a switch really since I rarely meet mobs on the way to the council, so I would need gf out all the time.

Another good place may be the "extra" area's in act 5, abaddon and such, there usually full of champions and drop alot of gold.

Season 2 I had warcry barb with over 2k% gf. Great for nm travi and even hell act I Laughing

Heres my goldfind barb, finds about half a mil in one trav run Wink

Name: IPwnCorpses

Wep1: Ebotd CB
Shield1: Cham'd SS
Wep2: 6 Lem Naga
Wep3: 6 Lem Naga
Armor1: CoH Archon
Armor2: Wealth Mage Plate
Helm: Lem'd Crown of Thieves
Ring1: Dwarf
Ring2: Dwarf
Amulet: basically anything you can find, hes using a duped one with stats and +2
Gloves: Chance
Belt: Goldwrap
Boots: Infernostride

Inventory: gold gcs, Gheed, gold scs, and wealth

Skills are something like 20 conc, 20 bo, 20 sword mast, 10 bash, 15 find item

res is 85/75/75/45 with CoH with 30% fire absorb

total gold find = 2288% if i added it correctly

basically you go in hell trav, kill council and pwn their corpses Twisted Evil

i was very successful turning my hammerdin into a gold finder. throw on 2x lem alibaba, goldwrap, chance guards, inferno strides, and crown of thieves. i was running hell trav in about 15 seconds, each boss dropping about 35k gold. 100k/15 seconds isnt that bad

You could maybe try combining the hell key bosses for keys AND gold.
They all seem to drop good gold for me and i use no goldfind so with %1000's gf u will be rich, and for more cash you could make keys for gold games after.

So with travi and the 3 bosses ud be raking it in.

Only problem is youd need whatever char u used to have tele.

I'd just use a Hammerdin with gold find tossed in.

Last ladder season on NL, I Lem'd my Shako, HoZ, and Wizardspike on my Hammerdin and ran hell Travincal a lot.

Of course, there are other ways to achieve more gold find, but try not to sacrifice too much damage, life, and other stats.

Should I try that build and let my merc kill everything or kill it myself and switch? Why does that guide say NM instead of Hell, anyways?

Because a merc in hell travi wont last longer than 2 seconds?

And even if it could it would probly be slower than doing the equivalant ammout of runs in nm to get the same gold.
