I would like it if we could get a 4 team, 2v2 ironman going on sometime soon. My questions would be: does everything like it better to do team vs team one at a time, or all out free for all all 4 teams out at once? Also I would like to know which tmie would be the best for everyone, and who you would like your partner to be you don't have to say which type of chars you are planning to team up and bring to the tournament though. And if anyone wants to be my partner then leave a message cause I don't have anyone lined up cause I'm a loner Mad

oh and about the rules for this one, i guess since i started the thread i should lay some down eh? Well I think it's fairly self explanatory. Everyone levels up in the same game. Once you have left town to start leveling, you can not re-enter town for any reason at all until you are level 9 and ready to hostile. Not even to get den quest from akara (that part is debatable) Umm don't be an ass by stealing people's drops :-/ I guess that's not an OFFICIAL rule just common courtesy since we're all friends. If your partner dies?? I don't really know. If your partner dies then you could still stand a chance alone if it was free for all, if it was team vs team you would die. Someone help me out ont hinking what to do if their partner dies Sad

Any time you prefer? If everyone posts a preferred time maybe we can come to a consensus. A time I would prefer is virtually any tuesday or thursday (when I'm at the house with d2) or any day this weekend coming up cause I'm there all weekend.

Also, do we get den of evil quest when we hit level 9 and wait in town? And do we get 5 minutes to buy/sell/trade/gamble with vendors and people?

) I usually prefer some sort of tourney organized by a bunch of 1v1's randomly picked by the organizer (If GODZ is in I don't want to go vs. him first, I'm always vs. him first and I always lose Evil or Very Mad

Do we get to loot partners and enemies alike during/after duels or during leveling?

One of mine went REALLY bad someone cheated and screwed up the whole game and called us NOOBS and how he owns us and then he left Rolling Eyes

Hmm.. I say no antidotes or thawing, or life or stamina pots, mana is debatable? I will say definetly no anything to do with vendors at all. But I do think that you can trade with fellow ironman'ers in trade screen once you are level 9 and in town if you all think that is ok. like trade a couple blue gems for an unid sc or something. I think it would be o.k. to talk to akara and get the den skill i guess if everyone else thinks thats ok, but no merc's definetly. I think no psychic hammer just because it's too annoying. I say yes to any looting that the person chooses to allow, looting won't be mandatory but it would help you if you allowed loot with your team member. Finally, if it's not a free for all, I won't make you go against Godz Razz

You could probably beat him anyways I bet he's not that tough Wink

Just try to live through the leveling stage this time Razz

I organized a nice Ironman back a few months ago...

Banned skills were:
Clay Golem (Slow)
Summons that require a corpse (Later banned)
Psychic Hammer

I'm not sure if banning clay golem would matter much cause a necro can't pose a serious threat anyways imo. I think 2v2 teams with 4 teams and free for all would be the most fun o.O

Ironman was created as the "Hardcore" of the Hardcore games. Players create a character, enter into the blood moor, and are not allowed to return to town, unless to fulfill a quest. No gambling, shopping, healing, etc.

It's been adapted to vlld for tourneys. Level to 9, and duke it out to the death!

I'd be interested, but I'm afraid I might not be avaliable for whatever time its scheduled.

bela :) hehe, don't worry, im prolly not all that good, though i don't think ive ever lost an ironman.

im in. can't this tuesday or thursday. work both days but sunday is fine for me. (sixflags on saturday).

umm my lld account is full and so is my hld account, so i guess i'll use my non lad hc account

and make us creat chars with a tag right before we join game so it's legit

Although I've never done 2v2 team ones either. I think teams would be cool, if you can think of 2 builds that go well together. And Blarg I was thinking to choose the teams we would just choose our own partner not randomly. Dely would be a great partner I admit although he probably won't be around for it! I know which type I want my partner to be anyways Wink

So I'm gonna ask some of my friends who I think could live, if they would be that type of char. What is the most life everyone has had on an ironman char?
