I realize that this is an old post...but wondering if anyone has ever built the defiance zealot (legit LLD101 rules)? If so, what is your experience dueling? I've never seen one (probably for a reason) but the guide here has me intrigued.
If anyone knows of a player (non hack, non dupe...so that I can actually build one  ) please let me know their acct so I can PM them with some questions.

Final Version up im not exactly looking to change anything there and I hope there is nothing wrong with the grammar since I Hate changing punctuation and crap and I'm horrible at it
Excluded Some Builds and Make it Eazier on myself and put one guide up
Added Table of Contents so it makes it eazier for peeps to just jump to one section instead of scrolling and crap

2 Open Socketed Visionary 10FHR 15-20 Life Helm-You Lose a Socket for More AR and you dont exactly gain a lot since the Visionary Mod (AR/Lvl) Works on Base AR. I'm not sure exactly if its worth Sacrificing Damage for only a bit More Attack Rating.
I use one of these, and I've used a 2 socket Visionary of the Sun. Overall, I have to say the aforementioned rare helm is the way to go. If it spawns +1 pally as well, that's just gravy. Mine is currently socketed with 2x 15max/10 all resistance jewels, gives me nice solid resists so not much gear switching is needed for dealing with casters.
4.5k AR is nice.. but when plugging in numbers to the ar/def chance to hit formula, unless your opponent has over 1k defense(damage concers might get there, and defense builds will be well over this for sure), 4.5k is not necessary. 4k works just fine, and you can even get away with 3.5k. Higher AR helps, sure, but it's more for bragging rights when you break 4.5k. I'm packing around 5k ar on my non-ladder 29, and plan on rebuilding down to around 4250 or so, maybe even 4000 even in favor of more damage.
As to rares vs Honor: Multiply your listed damage, min AND max by 1.25 to factor deadly in, and take the average. Your rare, when equipped, needs a better average than the Honor's average, and the same speed, if not better speed.

It's early so im pretty beet and i like people to give criticism and suggestions to the guide but i usually get the following from some people
"WOW THAT BUILD IZ ALL WRONG I HIT 2K Dmg wif my buidld i dun use any of dat stuf"

a 10/xx/12fhr gc IS a sharp gc of balance. As well, a xxx large charm of balance could work too, you could probably put that option in as well.

I think a 4 sol shield would be a better choice than a 4 sol armor because twitch is too valuable to give up.

Remember that defense drops to 0 while running.

You may wish to clarify this sentence a bit. When I read from the beginning of the sentence, it seems like you are suggesting that MY zeal doesn't put me into the fhr animation, but the "but you Can block it." is misleading.

Another possible choice would be to switch death's gloves for sanders or bloodfist, IF there is ias on your weapon.

in zeal vs zeal duels isnt max block kinda useless since your attack is uninteruptable anyway? or do you block even when zealing but it doesnt show the animation.
