1) I am a subject in a hearing research study. Two hours a day, 3x a week listening to beeps. Nice paycheck for not much work Wink
2) A lot of babysitting...
And I have been applying all over the place for a summer job, I'm thinking Planned Parenthood or anywhere else where bilingual employees are in great need.

That is about right. I don't think you understand how many rich people have boats. I live in Ft. Lauderdale right by a marina, and I can make so much money just like that. It isn't a constant job, but you do make good money when you work.

Also, detailing a whole boat doesn't take that long. About 2 to 3 hours of hard work, and I can clean my dad's 27 foot boat. He doesn't pay me as much, but heh.

when i see a paycheck, ill believe it. until then, i wont.

for the main reason that:

there are many jobs out there that risk peoples lives and pay less. so if there was a job available that was so simple as to wash boats and make 50$ an hour, it wouldnt ever be available. someone would always have it.

dont be so surprised, i used to pay 20 bucks just to have my car washed WELL in the parking garage at my work. suv people payed $30.
im sure washing some rich persons pretty 30ft boat pays atleast twice that in bigger cities where everything is just priced higher,

i remeber rampage saying he got GW for $42 bucks with tax.
its $54 where i live.

Thats the thing... Washing boats isn't something that is a fixed job. It varies in your work according to the people's boats you can wash. And most of the time, kids at the age of 14-16 go and was boats and they aren't getting pay checks. its more like something to do and they pay you cash. But, as you get more into it, you can easily start a business out of something like that. Trust me, because my dad rants on about this ALL THE TIME and he pesters me into working with boats. Where I live, its a good idea. ^_^

I usually work with a plumber who's a friend of the family. Tough work but it' worht it, get paid about 50 dollars (a day >.<)

I also work through a person that works for the village, people call in with work for young-ish people and they call you up.

2 jobs;

Salesperson at Buffalo. (50% discount is sweet). 8.00/hr + 2% commission. The pressure to sell and meet our budgets is kinda annoying sometimes though.

Games Attendant at Playland (a local, annual summer amusement park...604 what!). 8.42 + 5% wage. Great job; helped me get the Buffalo job. Meet tons of cool people.
