Is the material you're allowed to work with limited to wood? What sort of tools do you have access to?

Yeah, I have never had anything to do with woodshop and have no idea what to tell you when you say "suggest an idea" because I have no basis to work with.

Anyway, that being said. If you're thinking about a sailboat, you live in prime sailboat area. I am sure you could seach even in the yellow pages for a custom sailboat maker or something like that and he could give you some basic plans possibly. I'd offer to help but I am leaving town for four days tomorrow. After then I would love to do some reseach for you.

i have access to a shit load of tools; lathes, saws, drill presses, ...
last year i made a chest out of purple and yellow heart, was pretty sweet.

man i really have no idea what i want to make, still have awhile before i need to know what i want

I wouldn't know what you would want to make, but to let you know, i made a 5 drawer dresser for my final project, wanted to make some furniture for when i move out.

of course the boat would bw life size, atleast 14ft, but i couldnt find any good plans.
some kind of furniture would be pretty sweet, dunno what ill use though. maybe some kind of sweet desk
