Why are dupes meaning 20 maxers and etc. not able to be traded yet is allowed or blessed to use in tourney and public duels?

LLD wise... I dont know any massively duped people. West NL doesnt seem that have that problem.

i understand the trading of dupes but what happens if someone finds a 20 max jewel of the color of the duped ones. has friends vouch it n everything so people know its not duped.
now lets say another person gets a duped 20 max jewel of the duped ones and has friends vouch it n everything so people think its not duped.

whats the difference. i think what 101 is pushing and has been for a long time subliminally is the dissallowance of perfect gear. in order to be the best by 101's rules you can't be the best in game.

I don't think trading old classic perm dupes is wrong. These have been part of the game since before most of you began playing.

However, it is good that we don't allow the trading of current unperm dupes. If we did it would give people incentive to dupe LLD items. Also, unperms suck.

yeah b/c socketed jewels poof everyday... a dupe is a dupe. i'd love to have 20 maxers and i could get them all tonight...but i'd know and something fun about dueling would be lost to me if i switched out my hard found 4 green 15 maxed shield with an easy dupe.

and i totally know that not everyone here used dupes on their character but the distinction between the people that do and the people that dont is thin. i've pm'd ras with a few jewels that i've known came from dupers yet he's not added to the list. it has become too easy to do and there's just too much to keep track of i dont blame him for not adding them but screw it why have the list at all.

i've kind of lost track of what i was trying to say. i envy those of you with legit 20's and dont really care of those of you that use dupes. i was #1 for a couple weeks using nothing but 15 maxers (and one 16 i found myself) so fuck you all.

Did you even play in 1.0? Do you even remember the days before there was duping? As far as a noob like you is concerned, these classic dupes are staples of the game that have existed since the beginning of time.

Of course you're on ladder. I agree there should be no dupes allowed on your realm since perm classic dupes don't exist. On my server, LLDing with classic dupes is very balanced. Us East NLers think for ourselves and figured out that the LLD101 way is not necessarily the best way. I still can't believe there are people out there who think tele is overpowered.
