I found one program but in order to get rid of them I have to register and pay their inflated fee. Is there any free programs that will take care of em? I just started playing d2 again and I am positive I have a keylogger/trojan on my comp.

I'd still consider it to be Off Topic seeing as how the steps to remove a trojan/keylogger would be the same whether or not it's D2 related.

Anyway, I'd say the easiest (and surest) way to get rid of it would be to reformat your computer. Programs that are designed to locate harmful files on your computer will not be able to find all of them, thus making reformating the best idea.

greeks actually but anyway

google "the cleaner"

a company call moosoft or something makes it, one of the best trojan cleaners out there but only problem is that you got a keylogger also which are hard to find since most are custom made but couldnt hurt looking for a trail version of mcafee or virus scan or something to look for it, honestly bx is right reformating is prolly your best option here just to be safe if you arent comfortable doing it dont do it ask some friends see if anyone can do it for you

This can explain it better than I can. I am not the best person to come to when it comes to computer advice nor will I pretend to be so.

after formatting (assuming you do since that way you know for sure you are getting all the junk off) you might want to look into this nifty tool
http://www.faronics.com/html/choose.asp

basically this program "freezes" your C drive so that whenever you restart or shut down, it reverts back to its formal "frozen" state. very useful if you often get trojans, spyware, etc etc. all you have to do is reset the computer and BAM, problem solved. the only thing is, anything that is on the C drive (favorites, recently installed programs, s/s of d2 items Wink ) will also be removed if its frozen. to install and save favorites or whatever, you have to unfreeze, which requires a password if you want one, reset, install the program, freeze, and reset to get the computer frozen again.

it might be a hassle at first, but if you partition the C drive just to have the basics, and install everything else on D or whatnot, then again, it becomes a very useful tool
