Any good for a lvl9 kicker? |

Its got some very nice mods on it, ias, ctc amp and 101ar.
I doubt very much ill find a similar one in a blade talon so should i got for this or try somthing else alltogether?

You'd probably want to find a blade talons for your vlld kicker.

anything not claw class is limited to 8 frames max on sins...
i wouldnt recomend this to charge up with,, but the 100 ar can help TS charging

Did that make sense? You mean you wouldnt recomend it to KICK with?
Ok, if the AR is no good and the speed is no good, ill probly be helped more with a plain blade talon than with the sword?
And if AR doesnt transfer from the weapon and i dont think 10ias on a talon would make any difference [checking the ias tables confirms this] then the only good mod that would even be half useful is the ctc amp.
If this is so, it cant be that hard to shop a blade talon with 5%ctc amp, i think thats what ill do.

i dont recomened it...but u can still use it,,its not "horrible"
a talon with ctc amp and two amythysts would be a bit better bc it can hit 7 frames, and u get claw mastery AR boost
as for kicking u might as well use a crushflange, and not this sword
in my experience the ctc amp triggers in about 1:4 duels
10ias on talons does make a nice difference if your using bloodfists.
both ts sins have AND the vlld kicker have the option to use bfists.
the ts sin can go from 8 to 7frames
the kicker can save 2 bos points

it made perfect sense to me. he said, you cant get better than an 8 frame attack using a nonclaw class weapon.
he suggested using the sword to charge up your TS charges (because teh AR will help with that, just not kicking), then switch to a claw weapon for your kicks. if you are lucky, while charging, the amp will go off.
however, if you were to find the same mods on a blade talon, youd be better off. since you wouldnt have to bother with weapon switching, and a blade talon is -20, rather than the long swords -10.

i really gotta get use to that preview button more.....
the sword works as a semi ok charge-up weapon bc of that huge ar boost.. but not for kicking imo
amp talons are great, but its just soo random to use all the time.
imo ud be better off with a little more predictability with crushing first
this is my way of thinking and it can help u decide what weapons to use:
i open the duel with kicks + crushing.
3 reasons:
1)only the jabber and kicker are vlld uniteruptible so this keeps alot of competition busy with KB/fast hits
2) the additions of crushing is a decent amount of dmg for a kicker, in the beginning ONLY
3)i use alot of DTM (40-60%) in the build.
but DTM does nothing if your mana is full, so by getting alot of kicks (hopefully) before i can get hit once (using up a fair amount of mana quickly), the DTM increases my potential for MORE kicks overall,,, before running completely out of mana.
if the mana is full from DTM i just keep kicking and kicking with the crush setup...
if i see my mana becoming a problem (under 1/4) i then switch to charge weapon (amp talons)
if the opponent still hase above 50% life i switch back to crushing setup and kick with the 3charges + crushing.. if the opponent has been lowered under 50% life i stick with the amp talons +charges for kicking
i dont want to encourage building the way i do...im just saying i have found these ways to work a bit better.
