Yes.

It has always been that way with fury. Weapon ias is the only way to gain swing speed.

EDIT: with the exception of + to werewolf.

Let's end the quote pyramid. It is true that weapon ias is better, but it doesn't mean that off-weapon ias doesn't work at all. Now if you're talking about effectiveness, then weapon ias is obviously better. If this is what you meant, you should have specified anyway.

sorry prog, your just plain wrong. As torrent alluded to, off weapon ias has very little impact, but it does factor in.

IAS from gloves, armor, jewels, etc ALL count as far as I know.

When you guys say "off weapon" what are you talking about? You must be talking about the switch weapon... doesn't that ONLY count if you switch to it? When I hear "off weapon" I think of assassins and barbs using two weapons at the same time so I'm confused.

"Off weapon" refers to stats or mods that come from items besides weapons. Ie: On kickers, +%enhanced dmg only affects kick dmg if it's off weapon, or comes from helm/armor/gloves/boots/rings/belt/ammy/etc. ED on any weapon, including primary or secondary claws, will not add to kick dmg. I hope that was clear enough.

Fury IAS comes only from your weapon and the first couple skills in werewolf. Try using a weapon calculator and putting in like 1000 off-wep ias; it has no effect.

Sorry, but this is incorrect. There are many instances where off-weapon IAS can boost a fury frame. For example, go to the weapon speed calculator in the sticky, and input a Druid using Fury with a Naga that has 50%IAS and note the attack speed. Now add 20% off-weapon IAS and notice the change in attack speed.

It may not be the most practical example, since a fury druid would never use a setup like that, but it shows that fury is nevertheless affected by off-weapon IAS in some cases.

everything i stated in my original post is correct, including the impact of the 10ias from bloodfists. This isnt up for debate.
