hey, i still haevnt come up wiht an off the wall build that will be any good for pubbies... not intersted in owning up the lld101 circuit... but here are my ideas...

-rabies druid(viable?)
-fireclaw druid
-psn nec
-what kind of assassin?
-throw barb(not that offthe wall)
-any others...

*im into lvl 9 and lvl 18 dueling... not lvl 30 unless i have to oh and... ill make a lvl 14 or 15 if that fits your build... please post some off the wall builds might stand a chance with good charms and gear in a pubbies lvl 9-18 myabe 30

lvl 9 warebear druid
not sure skill placement but i think its easy to say

max warebear
max lythorpy
and max attack skill what ever is the is best Confused

items:

transmuted hordric staff /w max jewel
max jeweld armor
max jeweld helm
max jeweld sheild /w defecting mods (and other good suport mods Wink )
deaths gloves
deaths belt
dont know about boots rings or ammy Embarassed


its kinda off the wall but might work Very Happy


but probly wont lol

I was thinking of making a lvl 30 poison nec myself; I found a noxious yew wand with +3 lower resist while shopping for scepters.

staff's res and life over the 40 ar? and light dmg of khalims flail.?

if your gonna make a druid u'd want all high ar max jewels in the bear or all high max dmg jewels in the wolf... either way it's going to be very very expensive.

I made a rabies/fury hybrid...it worked well against anyone not using deaths gloves. Otherwise, it was subpar.

Chewie has a fireclaw druid I believe. It did decently vs. my smiter...when it wasn't in constant fhr lock. Twisted Evil

Psn Nec might be cool against melee, but would probably be a pain vs ranged. Again, anyone using deaths gloves will screw you over.

Blade fury assassin would be a good idea, and I'd like to make one someday...

Throw barbs are cool because they have the invisible glitch. Wink

Psn necs don't work against anyone that uses death's gloves. By going off the following assumptions:

PvP Penalty for Poison damage is 25%
75% Poison Resist(50 from deaths gloves, 10 from anya, 15 from belt/gloves combo)
75% length reduction

A total of 1.5625% of listed poison damage is actually going though. That's 1/64th of listed, for those that wish a fraction.

On a 600 life lld(on non ladder that's more than easy enough to do, ladder not *too* difficult), you'd need 38400 total poison damage BEFORE all of those penalties to kill said lld. And you gotta do it before that melee closes and beats your ass in. Good luck. I'm starting to run deaths gloves/belt combos on high level duelers.

You could make a melee sorc using sac , zeal?, Conc? charges. Someday i wanna make one.

About that Level 9 Druid, why not instead of using max jewels use rubies to boost life, get your life realllllllly high and slowly take them apart...idk just a suggestion, I've always wanted to make one, except level 12 maybe.

In terms of viability:

Throw barb works quite well at 14 if you have the fine larges for it. 30 it might do ok with higher end jewels, charms, and throwing weapons, but don't expect to regularly beat the hardened builds. You could get your javas to go invisible easily if you're trying to get to harpoons, if that's what you want. Just remember people are going to give you a lot of "WTF HACKER" type quotes a LOT. (I get this all the time with FwibTheYounger, my 14 throw barb)

Rabies has issues vs death's gloves (and at higher levels, venomward), but vs the unprepared it can still do a fair amount of damage.

Poison nec will have problems, even if you do get an ideal setup. Again, death's gloves and venomward will kill your damage, not to mention provide very good stacked resists against LR. The range on PN is also very short, and hitting any ranged/caster is going to be difficult unless you can place bonewalls in front of the opponent.

Blade assassin, like Knarl mentioned, is an interesting build. Just be careful using fury, because the initial launch is quite slow and can't be sped up. I'd probably take Fade over BoS for an aura, unless you really like running around fast. Also, do keep in mind that your AR for Fury is going to be very low unless you use 2x angelic rings = ammy, but even then you'll have problems hitting high defense characters who are walking toward you, and high levels (meaning level 31-45s in pub games, obviously the level 80+ chars any LLD that relies on AR will have a hard time hitting) will give you fits due to the level difference.

Fireclaws can work towards 30 with the addition of shael runes and more +skill gear. Below 28 I'm not sure how well it would do, though.

and i still dont know the base behind this is speed and i dont think its enought Question

hey, thanks for all the suggestions... i know i didnt go off the wall.. but i havent seen that many and i made a MAUL druid lvl 14... im useing 40 x 10 life sc's and ihave liek 700 life... wiht khalims ... but my next build will be so crazy it just might work... and my char name is thrdlittleBEAR and its a tribute to supernoob made by bela!!! because he cute me a hell of a deal on some items!! thanks bela ... WOOT WOOT

well... 700 life with 400 from charms?...your saying u won't have one point into lycan or oak? cuase 1 into maul = 600 life, not counting the life on your gear. that's only 100 to go... expect more around 1.2k+ with those charms
