help with imbue |

i just found a eth ornate plate and im gonna imbue it. what is the best level to imbue it with for a lvl 27-29 armor. if u find ne eth ornates, plz keep them for me. (west ladder)

I think best time would probably be lvl 33 to 35-ish for the imbue. That should keep the mods down below lvl 29 anyway.

Just imbue it normally, I would prob do it 35-40ish in NM, but if you don't like it, just keep re-rolling it until you get what you want.

skulling rares, geming magicals, or crafting will remove the ethereal property
only an imbue will preserve eth. (as well as larzuk socketing)
imbue at clvl 63 exactly
this will set its ilvl to 68
the ornate has a qlvl of 64
with ilvl 68 and qlvl 64 alvl = 37
HOLY is alvl 36 and there are no alvl 37 mods.
this will make sure it is not above req 29 and still can get holy.

what is alvl? does qlvl even have an effect on it?

the explanation is on that site, its based on code that i pasted here at the bottom.
qlvl is quality level..its a set value on every item. it never changes.. elite items are higher quality and have high qlvls
alvl = the lvl of the affix.. as an example "Cruel" is affix lvl 56
