ok, so i was going out to do the "Rescue On Mount Areat" quest and i start tele'ing around to find the pins and it says "rescue 10 more soldiers" and i hadnt even found the first pin of guys but when i do come across it its open and there is one of the barbarian guys walking around the pin with two swords (one of the barbs thats just out questing on his own). A few seconds later it says "Rescure 5 more soldiers" and when i find the next pin, the same thing had happened. This was a game which i made with a pword and NOONE ELSE WAS IN IT! so apparently NPC's other than your merc can help you finish quests because without moving anymore it said "Return to Larzuk for your reward" And i never even found the third cage of guys. This really tripped me out. And i know it wasnt my merc's aura that set them free because he has prayer for his aura. Anyone else have this happen ever?

You probably teleported on top of the doors and your merc hit it.

im pretty sure if the barbs outside kill all the monsters around them they would attack the doors. you could test this by finding a barb somewhere by the prisons and killing all the monsters around him...and see if he attacks the door.

i didn't tele onto the doors because they werent on my map at all when the messages came up. And as for seeing if the barbs attack the doors, they do. I just tested it. Thanks Barbs for a quest!
