Okay so while back, I traded for two perm 32020s from my friend. I'll call him Joe. So everythings fine for a few weeks, and I join one game, and one of them poofs. I leave that game, and join another, and find the other 32020 poofs. Now I'm a little frustrated and I wait for about 3 days until Joe gets online so I can talk to him.

When I ask him the question, "You remember those two perm 32020s you sold me?" The reply I get is, "No." So fine, I tell him the story, and he at first doesn't believe me, saying that his 32020s have not poofed yet. I ask him, why I would lie in the first place. So as I'm trying to confront him, all he's doing is joining duel games, and ignoring my messages for a good while. I finnally get him in a private game with me, and confront him. He gives me the excuse that, "If the 32020s I had poofed, then all of his are unperm as well." I'm thinking, regardless of that, he should replace my 32020sbrings anyways. Then he up the fact that since the 32020s poofed in separate games that, I was lieing, because dupes of the same batch poof together, or something like that.

In the end, he leaves the game, saying he'll talk to me later. All this time I'm skeptical as to why he was avoiding me, and avoiding trying to replace them. So now, I'm just waiting on him to get back online again, so I can talk to him again.

Whats your opinion?

forget about it, dont trade for dupes in the first place.

If by Joe you mean Trix, which I think you do, then I guess if you can't get him to repay you the best you can do uis make it widely known on every forum that he sells unperms as perms so he can't scam anyone else.

You're fault for using dupes in the first place, I have had stuff like that not poof for a couple MONTHS before it goes...

And I just wouldn't trade w/ him anymore.

joe: and with you wanting and enforceing that you want 320's how do i know that they havent poofed, and that you just want more to complete your char?

What an ... obviously he's NOT your friend I wouldn't want to be associated with someone like that anyway... I know what it's like getting ripped off it's a feeling.

It is a pretty bad move either way, but do you think he very well knew they were unpermed, or do you think that he actually sincerely thought they were permed when he traded them?

I guess the answer to that question would decide whether my opinion is "lying bad trading poopoohead" to "moderately understandable bad move"

I asked him bluntly, if he was going to replace my 32020s. He said no. So I'm just going to cut my losses and get what I can...

Honeslty, after talking to a couple of my own friends who know who joe is, it seems he has a bad repuation and seems to be a bm person. Oh well, I guess theres no better time than the present to find out someone's true colors.

I believe they poofed, if anyone hre knows Legs, they know he is easily one of the most well known real 100% perm item seller on east. He traded me 10x 70-15's one time from a char he used them on since 09, and one of them poofed. He believed me and gave me another one, and explained the only possible way he knows of that things can poof after several months or years of using. I don't know how to explain it entirely cause I don't know all the lingo but I'll try...
It's something about the items being in the same batches of duping. Like if someone duped 500x 70-15 one day, and then dispersed them among the community, those 70-15's would only poof if they were in the same game as another 70-15 from that batch. Even if you brought that 70-15 into a game with another unperm 70-15, if the other unperm 70-15 was not from the same batch, neither of them would poof. What he suggested that happened was, a bunch of 70-15's had been duped, all of them had poofed except 2, making them virtually 100% perm, because the only way it would ever poof was if I met the single other 70-15 on all of east, which apparently I did.
Outlaw, would just take back what you traded him... it's better than the other option which is nothing. At least that way you come out of it without actually losing anything except time.
