How big is your memory card, and how many songs of each do you have?

Yay, someone else. It's odd, I normally don't even like that type of music but something about them makes me really think they're awesome.
I had a chance to go to a concert of theirs a few months ago, but couldn't because my best friend who had been out on the ocean for 4 months (he's in the coast gaurd) came home that day to have a little birthday get together

I love "Offline P.K.".. One of my favorite songs, and I have no idea why.. It's not even that great.

Ah, the music I can relate to the most on this board are probably Spazz and Kaz, though Spazz is a bit emo and Kaz is a bit too Japanese for my tastes. I enjoy these musicians that's been listed above:
Explosions in the Sky
Godspeed You Black Emperor! (Didn't you tell me you didn't like this band back when I recommended them to you, Spazz? Oo)
Modest Mouse
Wolf Parade - Hats off to you on this one, Spazz
Zeppelin
Pink Floyd
Basically all the classical music, though I'm not that crazy about Strauss
The Beatles
Yoko Kanno
Radiohead
Here's my own playlist:
Animal Collective
The Arcade Fire
Architecture in Helsinki
The Beach Boys
The Beatles
Block Party
Bob Dylan
The Books
Boy Least Likely To
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
The Decemberists
DJ Shadow
The Evens
The Flaming Lips
The Go! Team
Joanna Newsom
M83
The Microphones
Modest Mouse
Neutral Milk Hotel
The New Pornographers
Of Montreal
Okkervil River
Pink Floyd
The Pixies
Prefuse 73
Radiohead
The Smiths
Sparklehorse
Spoon
Sufjan Stevens
Sunset Rubdown
Tapes 'n Tapes
Thom Yorke
Tiger Tunes
Velvet Underground
Wilco
Wolf Parade
Yoko Kanno (some of his jazz stuff from Cowboy Bebop rocked hard)
And assorted classical music like Bach, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Schubert, Mozart, Liszt, etc etc and some Charlie Mingus and such. Yeah, I'm kinda scene, but it's good music and I don't wanna be stuck listening to classical the rest of my life.

Yeah, that song grew one me suddenly, I just started liking it. The little "break" to the happy part/chorus thing is really neat.
I used to just think Pinback was "alright", until I listened to their albums Summer in Abaddon and Blue Screen Life in one sitting, in song order. It makes you appeciate them a lot more as opposed to listening to random singles. Summer in Abaddon, especially.

Whenever I see posts like this, I always think the responders find the most obscure and oddball things in their collections so that they can post them for the 1337-coolness-factor.

Lol, I've never even heard of half the bands/groups/artists that were mentioned. But I do know what kind of music you guys listen to now.

This is how it goes.
I hear a band suggested to me, and I hate it.. I get bored and give it another shot and like it more and more each time I listen to it.
But I knew of godspeed before you told me about them, I have a friend who hooks me up with tons of stuff that I don't even know I have unless I specifically look.

Seems as good a place as any to post this:
Who composed that one classical piece thats used a lot on tv and films.
I cant think of who it is or what its called so ill try my best to describe it.
Its really dramatic with some chanting in it, i dont know what they say. It sorta goes like this... da da da da... da da da da... DA DA DA DAAA DA DAAA [repeat]
haha, thats the best i can do. Someone please help me! Its driving me mad.
Edit: Found it! Its O Fortuna from Carmina Burana by Carl Orff
