Subject description: mainly pub killer
 

Ok well this will mainly just be a pub killer and wont be used in arena or anything like that.i read through the guide in the sticky and since fcr doesnt seem to hlp me im going for pure dmg mainly. he will be hell rushed.

skills:

15 firestorm
1 molten boulder
19 fissure
5 volcanoe
1 oak

stats:
enought str for gear
enough dex for max block(not sure)
rest into vita depending on mana issues
read above for energy

gear is where im alil unsure. this is what i thought about using.

weapon: spirit(dont know why i didnt put this in the 1st place)
armor: viper magi
boots: sanders or some rare fhr/frw/res
belt: SoE or life/fhr belt
rings: 2x sojs
ammy: 2ele skills/mana/life
helm: lore 3 fisure or 2ele/3fissure or 3os fissure(with +bear if i can) or maybe a 2ele/30frw circ
gloves: magefists
switch weap/shield: spirits for oak/bear(if i get) prebuff

The one thing im really unsure of on is should i get bear or no? i do/dont see a reason why i need it but its 5 skill points to get unless i find +fissure/bear pelt(would be kool) what are yalls opinion for the build and the whole bear thing.

i'd personally say no bear, it'll just eat up points unless u find a helm with bear/fissure on it

also, why put anypoints into volcano? my naked 18 fissure druid did 400 damage with fstorm, so a lvl 30 fissure useing fissure/Fstorm is alot more fun than volcano. also pubbies get freak'd out when a Fstorm 1 hit kills them aka alotta fun

also since u said u wanted to max out damage, spirit sword, magefist gloves. the fcr might not work so well with fissure but Fstorm it'll increase the rate which may come in handy.

besides that everything else looks normal and fun

well it really doesnt matter which one i put points in they both add 12% to fisure but i supose your right

Spirit sword is godliness on a stick (55 FHR means you don't need to care about it, then the +skills and the mana and the FCR... it's the enigma of LLD) and magefists, while they're technically not a must, are the stereotypical thing you'd use on a fire char.

The damage is, imo, somewhat disappointing compared to something like a hammerdin. Max res+life charms >>> you. Yes, you can chip away with your long range, but come on, when the damage doesn't even put 'em in FHR you just get demoralised and give up.

With a spirit you'll never need mana, ever.

i just made one on nL.

i hit 1211 dmg or something. some combination like that. 1122? or w/e

hes lvl 31 because i forgot to get sage. -__-

so get SAGE for sure. it adds super nice life. i have 1.7k life

anyways i used

+3 fissure +2 aramgeddon helmet. (blue colored because i am sexy)
i just wanna note that armageddon is very useful and does around 850-900 dmg but if your helmet doenst already have it then it isnt worth it.

druid ammmy with stats
magefists (bfists could work too i guess)
sigons with - req jewel. u might wanna use rhyme but i just wanted to the dmg because i am more of a pubby slayer.


imo there isnt really a need for grizzly either.

so definitely get sage if u dont have it in your helm
try to get armageddon in your helm
and use spirit. duh. your on ladderu shoudlnt have a probelm with that.
fire druids are sexy.

if im not compleartly wrong i thikn that mages are your only gloves since the +1 fire skills adds to druid fire elemental skills

It works on all the fire skills including druid ones and even add to corpse explosion on necromancers.

absolutely. i was choked looking at my nec's skills cause i thought i accidentally put 2 into corpse explosion, i couldnt figure out where the extra point was coming from.

anyway, i dont have a bear on my fissure druid, had no need for it. also, volcano sucks at this lvl. it does no dmg because you dont have points into boulder and its blockable. its much better imo to get 1600+ firestorm damage. also, i use whistan vs melee and rhyme bone shield vs casters (just hit W depending on who im dueling). i find i can tank most melee with firestorm while just standing there. i almost never run out of mana, fissure is very easy on mana due to the casting delay. and as for zeiris-lld's comment on disappointing damage compared to hdins and not putting them in fhr: ive beat every hdin ive seen on us west ladder with my fissure druid, and fissure is the single greatest skill ive seen for un-desynching hammerdins. kody, this doesnt have to be just a pub killer. mine still uses peasant crown and does just fine vs any elite llder (watch out for spurs)

yea i know. anyways it doesnt matter if i put 5 in volcanoe or the 5 in fire storm they both add the same % of dmg to fissure and to my knowledge u cant block fissure. the point of volcanoe is to lay it down under them and put them in block motion. and lay down fissure/firestorm. see where im coming from though?

with the casting delay on volcano, they'll be long gone by the time you can cast a fissure under them. it has a 4 second delay while fissure only has a 2 second delay (once you cast volcano, you have to wait 4 seconds before you can cast fissure)

that isnt entirely true. since fire druids arent exactly the best 1v1lldpk but pubbywise u'll have a blast with the fhr stun that volcano does. i had a hld fire druid and all u need is good name lock to catch a sorc and once u get her. she usually gets stuck in fhr animation and dies.
